Hey sup TL?

You guys want to know how to make taco's? I found a very good recipe in regard to the awesome mexican food we all love! TACOS!

So first; you have to get the following ingredients:

2 cups Shredded beef or other filling
12 Corn Tortillas
1/2 cup Corn or canola oil (optional - soft tacos aren't fried)
2 cups Chihuahua or Jack cheese, grated
1 Tomato, diced
1 bunch Green onions, chopped
1/2 head Lettuce or cabbage, shredded
1 cup Salsa Mexicana and/or Salsa Verde

Then here is the instructions on how to cook them:

Fried tacos:In small frying pan, heat oil until a drop of water sizzles immediately when added to it. Fry tortilla lightly on one side. Turn and fry lightly on the other side. Before tortilla becomes crisp, bend it in half, using tongs and a fork to hold it steady and crisp the folded end. Remove from oil and drain on paper towel. Repeat with all 12 tortillas.Heat filling until steaming. Place one to two tablespoons filling mixture inside taco shell. Add shredded lettuce, onions, tomatoes and top with cheese. Repeat for all tacos. Serve immediately. Street tacos (soft tacos):The difference here is that soft tacos are not fried. Heat tortillas in the oven or microwave until hot and pliable. Fold and fill in the same way as fried tacos. If your tacos seem inclined to fall apart, try using two tortillas for double the strength. Serve immediately. NOTE: Soft tacos are served street side in Baja. I include corn tortillas, along with flour tortillas at all fiestas where people build their own tacos and burritos. Quesa-tacos (a Mexican street taco extravaganza):One of my all-time favorite tacos are carne asada quesa-tacos. The only difference between soft street tacos and these are that after you fill the corn tortilla with meat, you add some grated Jack cheese and flip it back onto the grill (or frying pan) until the cheese is melted. Then add the rest of the goodies. They are beyond delicious!

Learn the basics on how to make tacos Mexican recipes!

Wow! as fast as 20 minutes you can make taco all day long! That is incredible!

To inspire you people, here are some taco's that I saw in the internet.

For me, I know enough science so that I could never be convinced about religion. There's no happiness in knowing that nobody is watching over me and when I die my body will simply decompose and I will cease to exist.

lol what? how are people happy when they have convinced themselves that they are being watched at every point and time of their life, and they must follow these 10 rules, and if they break any one of these rules they will burn in hell forever? yeah that's very happy alright.

and no happiness knowing that nobody is watching over me? lol

That's not true at all either...

Stop tying god in with your quality of life. It's sickening. Whether you believe or don't, your quality of life should be unaffected by a belief or non-belief in any entity. Make your life your own mammal.

That's an insensitive thing to say. If you have nothing useful to contribute, don't bother saying it. You could say that exact same phrase to soooo many blogs.

Who says I have to be sensitive about some crybaby? I'm contributing a suggestion to grow the fuck up.

Jeez, you've either had a really bad experience with Christianity or just simply PMSing really hard. I'm not sure why you're so offended haha. Pretty sad IMO...

Btw, if you're going to:
1. Be insensitive, don't post. I never said you had to post something "sensitive", just don't post at all.
2. Post a suggestion? More like an insult through blunt words. Sounds like you're whining about someone's blog whereas the OP is "whining" about something that's actually not trivial. Which is more "stupid"?

Growing up is normally the right answer to whine posts.

What I said never had anything to do with bashing Christianity or even religion, or me PMSing (lol high school insult) about it.

I suggested the OP stop tying god in with his life so closely, and over thinking his existence by reminding him he is a mammal. Humans often over think things and forget they still have a life to live. Humans are far too existential for their own good.

I can say whatever I want in a blog response and if you actually comprehended what I said rather then just assumed I am a religious bigot, you would realize I wasn't out of line in the slightest.

Whining about a god or gods is always trivial.

This has actually started to happen to me. I came from a non-Christian family, and my friend and his family helped me grow my faith, worked with my mother to help me get to church weekly, to really start to grow as a Christian. It was going great for about a year or two. I still go to church, unless my family has something planned (can't blow off a non-Christian family for church stuff, because it is likely they won't understand). But recently, I have found myself slowly falling back into my original Atheist state. I think I've just settled into church to an extent that I am simply there to hang out with people. I can barely pay attention to sermons anymore (though it could be because I'm not getting much sleep anymore). Occasionally I'll find something that catches my eye, something that really makes my think, during night devotions, but the next morning, I immediately forget it.

What I'm saying is I feel like I'm trying to get back into it, but not with a whole heart, trying to do it by myself instead of relying on God to help me through it. And as a result, I simply can't get over the speed hump. I'm going to keep trying, but I just hope I don't completely lose faith and give up. I pray I won't. It is all about me remembering it at all points of the day, not just when I have to, but developing the lifestyle.

I tried to keep the religious references down to a minimum without diminishing the content, seeing as this is a StarCraft forum.

EDIT: LOL! I scroll up, and see the tacos. I was so confused, and thought that I just posted this in the wrong thread.

I know plenty of people who believe in god, and don't sign every one of their emails with "God loves you"

God can be addicting, and all addictions are unhealthy on some level. I never said "stop believing in god" I said in less words, that his addiction was sickening and probably unhealthy. I never called him stupid, ever.

PS: Now that I know you were born in the 90s, this conversation is over. Keep starting arguments based on your inability to read with someone else.

On the other hand, there are plenty of people who can who involve themselves in the question of god's (non)existence given all the terrible things that happen before said things happen to them. Some of them decide god does not exist. Some continue in their beliefs. Either way I have a lot more respect for people with the curiosity and skepticism to consider the question in a preemptive manner, instead of waiting until they land in shit themselves and decide "hey wow this totally unforseeable thing that has never happened to anyone else before means my previous worldview was all wrong."

That aside, it seems to me that shit happening is evidence for god's non-existence if you proceed from the assumption that god does not exist: a circular argument along the lines of "God doesn't exist, this life is all there is, so when this life is cut capriciously short it's proof there is no loving god". If on the other hand one assumes god does exist and is as described in various places a loving being, and if the human spirit continues after death, the end of this mortal existence is not the all-terrible thing it seems.

This viewpoint as summed up nicely in this quote from Phillip K. Dick's Exegesis:
God manifested himself to me as the infinite void; but it was not the abyss; it was the vault of heaven, with blue sky and wisps of white clouds. He was not some foreign God but the God of my fathers. He was loving and kind and he had personality. He said, 'You suffer a little now in life, it is little compared with the great joys, the bliss that awaits you. Do you think I in my theodicy would allow you to suffer greatly in proportion to your reward?' He made me aware, then, of the bliss that would come; it was infinite and sweet.

This can also be seen as a circular argument: "God exists and is kind and a wonderful heaven awaits, so sudden capricious death doesn't mean he isn't there, our reward is hereafter".

Basically I don't consider the existence of suffering to be a proof for god's existence or non-existence. There are plenty of intelligent people who fall out on either side who have considered the question, and who have, in concert with other influences made their decision. As I said, I respect that process a lot more than the narcissistic "whoops shit just happened to me now I have to question my beliefs" when the shit that happens to other people all the time never was able to prompt the same thoughts.

No offense to anybody.

What a stupid post, what was the point of this. It's just whining, who cares if religion is involved.

If he believes in God, why in the world would you reply with a post that basically says "stop believing in God, you're so stupid"?

Good thing I only just graduated from high school so it's fine if I use PMSing as an insult.

/sarcasm

I know plenty of people who believe in god, and don't sign every one of their emails with "God loves you"

God can be addicting, and all addictions are unhealthy on some level. I never said "stop believing in god" I said in less words, that his addiction was sickening and probably unhealthy. I never called him stupid, ever.

PS: Now that I know you were born in the 90s, this conversation is over. Keep starting arguments based on your inability to read with someone else.

PPS: You are dumb.

I never said you called him dumb, I said your post "basically" says etc etc.

On August 24 2009 13:22 keV. wrote:Keep starting arguments based on your inability to read with someone else.

Lol, the irony.

And you're pretty ignorant, saying something like "Now that I know you were born in the 90s, this conversation is over." Your idiocy pisses me off to no end.

You really are retarded. What I meant was: there was nothing in what I said that anyone, with a decent brain, could translate into calling him stupid.

Thanks for ignoring the rest of the post. Selective moron.

Really? Are you going to degenerate into simply insulting me? You're raging harder than I am.

I said that you're PRETTY MUCH saying that. Or are you a "selective moron" as well? That's how I interpreted your post and you can defend all you want, but don't go around thinking your the shit and that you're superior to everyone else. You're making the same mistakes that you're accusing me of you hypocrite.

You need to stop talking out of your ass

No where in my original post do I hint at the original poster being stupid. That is your misinterpretation. That is what I was trying to point out. Myself having evidence and you not having any.

As far as degenerating the conversation goes, remember that last post you made where you completely ignored me explaining, very specifically, what I said in my original post. You know, the point of this thread. What else can I do when you don't even read what I say, but call you stupid.

You are the one who said "pisses me off" I'm not raging at all, just trying to put a moron in his place; unsuccessfully, I might add.

Though those less intelligent, who refuse to learn from their mistakes, are often envious of my communication skills and ability to think logically. It is understandable.

I am superior to people who do not read or listen. You need to stop accusing me of being wrong, because you don't like the way I type, and get some perspective.

Most atheists aren't out to make anti-god jokes in front of a church. They are honestly and truly worried that belief in god stunts the growth of humanity. They are particularly aggressive about what daz says, Hot issues, like gay marriage and abortion.
