So I work for King County Metro right now doing Computer Science stuff. Well by work I mean I come here (at work right now) and they don't pay me.

So at any rate I was here last week and talking to my boss and I couldn't help but draw the not being paid parallel to working on the wiki. So I'm like "yeah boos I also have this job for this Starcraft website." And my boss is all like "oh Starcraft? Yeah I know what that is."

As popular as SC is I'm always surprised when people in their 30s and 40s who don't game know about it. Crazy stuff?

Hell, all I can say is that starcraft is an epic game destined to be in the spotlight..

I think i've ran into a few dads in their 30's and 40's on battle.net. That was of course when battle.net west and east were still heavy populated

Yea, my project director is 40+ and knows about Starcraft. I told him I'm going to Blizzcon. I've also talked about WCG at interviews to various people a few years ago.

i wish people around here knew about starcraft. then i wouldnt be called a nerd when i tell people thats the only game i actually play T_T
