MLG only because of the larger player pool. The delay at the beginning and the day 1 stream sucked ass. I wonder how a larger scale IEM SC2 Event would compare to MLG.

IEM definitely mainly because of the overall players that attended with Idra, Huk and of course my favorite player atm Select.

very, very a hard pick for me. cologne was >> raleigh easily but this time, even though iem hat carmac and fenix's fantastic games, you just got to see more of the players at mlg dc because of some limitations iem had. or maybe i just see it that way because you did see a lot from the players at iem cologne.

hard pick. but dc wins by a close margin.

MLG by far. Stream was better quality wise, more matches, different casters, etc. Just all around better.

Definitely MLG. Day9, JP, and Wheat did a fantastic job, the matches were great, the SotG mini-casts and interviews with the players gave a very human feel to the event, and the shots of the crowd were awesome. Stream problems aside, it was a really solid event.

I enjoy the fact that IEM gives us more opportunity to see competitive play but;

1. There wasn't a single zerg at IEM (not their fault).

2. There were A LOT of issues that I remember (like never showing the players and bad stream).

3. Frankly the casting was better at MLG.

4. MLG had a lot of behind the scenes stuff and constantly showed the players and their reactions. It was much more immersive.

IEM did one thing better though... they randomly had classical music playing in the background during one of their matches, on Xelnaga I think.

Huh? You're thinking of MLG.

I voted for MLG. I thought it was a great event despite the technical screw ups at the start.

I think MLG had better matches of the 2.. but it really didn't look like a comfortable experience for the players. I think IEM Cologne was the best of the 4 if you look at all 4 of the events.

I did like MLG Raleigh better than MLG DC though. MLG's free stream quality was terrible at DC.

I hope they work on improving the experience for the players, it's an insult to their skill level. IEM Cologne seemed the most professional of the events.

Blizzard does need to add LAN support to SC2 though, there has been some lag issues in every event.

Best overall SC2 events are held in Korea, then in Europe and at last in USA.
