MLG - Better casting, better players, better games, AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE PLAYRERS LOL.

IEM - Better stream quality by a little bit

all in all big win for mlg, iem was disappointing imo

MLG DC, but I think it's unfair to compare that particular ESL event to MLG DC..

Gamescom and the big ESL events in Europe would be more worthy, which I enjoyed more.

iem cologne was the best!
i think iem america has to less players and i missed the interviews before and after matches and camerashots from the players.

Even with the terrible mess ups of Day 1 in streaming and really long commercial breaks, because of IdrA, SeleCT and HuK's Momo rush and still higher production values, MLG DC was better imo. Granted Fenix was pretty good.

well.. Best SC2 even would be GSL.

For NA tourney, MLG had a really good lineup so I would go with it (tough I didn't watch lots of game for now).

MLG without a doubt...

Think the bracket system works alot better than the group system and ofc SeleCT as the highlight of MLG.

I think both did a great job in setting up such an event. IEM had online qualifiers because they knew that showing all the matches would be hard to get into their schedule. IEM is a global event and MLG more of an US based event therefore having better sponsors and targeting more of the US viewers. but ESL is also going a great distance to bring great events to the viewers. since they main base is in germany they make it hard on them selfs to make these events more English speaking friendly.
But it is the games that count and at MLG we had more stramed over the weekend and they were great once.

IEM had better games imo. But you seriously can't compare the IEM to MLG. MLG was huge venue that had a single focus: E-Sports. IEM NY was a stage stuck in the middle of an anime and comic book convention.
