While we're on the vod topic is there any way they can be cut up so that its more consistent in terms of when vods starts : when game starts? Up until this season most of them were the same pattern of the vod starting when the warmup graphics started and the zoom of players in the lobby, then the game started (maybe a minute into the video) but the pl vods from this season are all over the place.

Obviously not a big deal but its a minor annoyance to have a video for a bit only to realize I've just buffered 8 minutes of dudes talking.

Also, when I used to upload the VODs cut down to just the game people were complaining because they wanted to watch the pre/aftergame stuff as well.

There's no "Random" option integrated into TLPD so I'm pretty sure that was just something that was edited in like any other image.

We do not link Baezzi's VODs in the interest of sanity, this hasn't changed in the last 2 years.

Wow, this really sucks. Is there any solution in sight?

Jon747's channel is nice when you want to catch up on recent games, but it's a lot less organized than TLPD if you want to dig up games that are more than a few days old. It would be such a loss if TLPD were to only have a ~50% complete VOD record. =(

On the team pages, it would be cool if we could see proleague results. I understand this would be pretty hard, but that's what proleague R&S threads are for?

The problem then is that the 12 team pages all would need to be edited manually every time they have a match (or more realistically every week). Its a surprising amount of additional work.

Aww I was gonna offer to work in the missing TLPD vods, but I see that Baezzi's aren't allowed and other's don't work. Ah well. Figures y'all would have a good reason.

Damn someone added winnersleague as separated league instead of merging it to proleague 2009-2010. Why cant it be the same, this way I could at least see players ELO ranking whole season and how they did overall.

They're different leagues even though one is part of the other. There are different champions in the WL and PL. If we only have PL in database then there's no way of entering the champions of the WL so that it shows up in TLPD under team accomplishments or anything.

One of the things that we'd like to be able to do in the future is enter games as parts of multiple leagues, but currently that isn't possible.

Are they doing the special playoffs for WL again? I thought they were just doing it as a promotional thing last year. Without the playoffs, having a different entry for WL is kinda pointless.

Um I thought normal games are counted for as Round 3 games but playoffs counts as non official games for proleague rounds. I guess there could have been winnersleague added when playoffs starts so it could still mark as accomplishments for the team.

When it comes down to it Winners League games are Winners League games. They are counted in Proleague totals as well but there's no reason to make it more confusing than it already is by not listing them under Winners League when every thread they link to has Winners League all over it. The ELO League Rank isn't worth the confusion for now.

When TLPD has the capabilities to allow for adding them under both leagues then they will show up in both leagues, but for now lets keep things simple.
