You know how browsers these days have a "search" box at the top, in addition to the address bar? Woud it be possible to make a plugin or whatever for internet explorer 8 for a TLPD search thing for the lazy?

Yes, it wouldn't be difficult at all. Someone would need to write what's called an OSDD, and OpenSearch Description Document, which is a small XML file that details the parameters of the search engine, like what encoding the input is in and what the query URL is. The main spec is at http://www.opensearch.org/Specifications/OpenSearch . Then this can be linked via <link rel=search> to make the browser discover it. An article detailing a lot of this is available at https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Creating_OpenSearch_plugins_for_Firefox . Don't be misled by the title, that covers info that is generally useful across all browsers.

I just did a search for Hyun in TLPD, and it returned 105 results, with Hyun himself being the 7th.

edit: Well I couldn't figure out how to install the plugin based on the .xml I made, but ie has its own support for making your own at http://www.ieaddons.com/en/createsearch.aspx. It works beautifully :D

I've no idea if that was the case, but the thing is still wrong as this TLPD is for 1v1 only, right?. Sea went 11-4 that season and is not on there for example.

Is there any plan to put more info on team pages? A setup with what each progamer page has (recent wins/losses, what teams they played against, etc.) would really be helpful for things like FPL and Liquibet.

Old Tornado is listed as 128x128, but the only version I can find is 96x96: ygosu.
(In fact, you can tell just by the scale of the image that it's 96 tiles scaled to 768 pixels).
Also, Outsider SE lists spots 1,3,5, should be 1,5,9.

Hey, a small request that I'm sure would lead to other much larger problems if switched but hey I'll give it a shot.
When search TLPD I frequently want to search multiple things before actually going to the TLPD section of the site(via multiple tabs) and with the current image being the link I can't open another tab while searching. I was wondering if there was any way you could make it a direct link so that you can open TLPD in another tab through there.
This would be incredibly great.

VODs are often not linked in the TLPD anymore. For instance, see Bisu vs Turn. Jon747 uploaded the VOD to YouTube on December 14.
Now I don't want to complain too much, because I'm grateful for all the VOD-related work that's done, such as uploading them and linking them in the Small VODs and Recommended VODs threads. But I do find the TLPD VOD links to be very handy for watching old games. So, I'm wondering why the TLPD is no longer always linking VODs.

Nope, take a look for instance at games in early November. Every single one has a VOD, even preseason games.
I have been informed via PM that this is due to Jon747 no longer allowing embedding of VODs. But they still seem to embed OK in the Small VOD thread (which is a great thread), so I am not sure whether this still applies. Alternatively, it would be useful to even just have a link to the VOD, because YouTube searching can be unreliable when looking for VODs.

I know and it's a shame. The problem at the moment is that the VODs I get for all MBC games are not accepted by Youtube. OGN is still up though. I don't have the resources to reencode all MBC games before uploading them unfortunately.
We do not link Baezzi's VODs in the interest of sanity, this hasn't changed in the last 2 years.
