Aside: I think there’s value in a thread with regular jeering at Trump/supporters without tolerance for the reverse done in like tone and manner. He’s a polarizing figure. He broke mainstream journalist publications and some parts of political discourse (fuck, even his hat with successful presidential slogan is something of a dick move to some people). Some of the angry reaction on an internet website is understandable. It’s natural and productive to have center right and center left and left talk, while all accepting a broad worldview of Trump with minimal exceptions. That way you can get to deeper thought on the opposition with conflict, but always having a backstop in wide agreement about how stupid the latest Trump thing is. I think the “as is” thread is good for that purpose. | ||

We are going to keep all the currents ones in the General Forum but we don't wany any more because it is a bitch to moderate. Just stick to the current ones, enjoy yourselves and don't run with scissors! Please take any issues to Website Feedback, no need for a meta discussion in this thread, it is complicated enough already  | ||
