He joined mYi now too, so I think he deserves getting featured
|
|
+1 Hes very nice with chat and really makes an effort to commentate in English!
|
Balloon please! He just joined mYi, is the only Korean GM who plays random (high masters NA) and he's planning on trying the qualifier for WCS NA - should be considered a favourite, and he will play random, not race pick. This would make him potentiall yhte only random player in WCS this year, and last year the only one was Tilea, who was more of a race-picker anyway (almost always played zerg).
|
He speaks awesome english, is very friendly and got into mYins recently. Will become one of the big ones soon! Should be definitly get featured!!!! He also is one of the very rare GM KR Random player!

If you don't get featured I'd be interested in knowing why, considering you usually have the most viewers in the SC2 category on twitch when you stream. Not saying you should or shouldn't be featured, just wondering why you're not.

But TL might want to reconsider. WinterStarcraft is most known for mass smurfing with low level accounts (many likely not his own) and streaming it. MMR abuse is cheating and is bannable offense based on Blizzard's TOS: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/3123037509
The ladder is already a mess after Blizzard introduced too steep MMR decay. Low level players are hurting. It does not help if popular streamers make smurfing look like fun & acceptable way to play the game. Such players should be frown upon as they are hurting the community. SC2 already has high entry barrier & when the potential beginners in the lowest leagues get smashed down by much more skilled master level veterans like WinterStarcraft who do it to get more viewers, many will quickly decide that the entry barrier is too steep and quit.
WinterStracraft commentates his matches. The quality of the commentary is good. If he has stopped abusing the ladder and plays only on his own level nowadays, I see no problem regarding the featured status. If the main content of his stream still is smurfing & crushing low league players, I would recommend against him receiving a featured status.
-- Edit: Smurfing still seems to be the main content of his stream. For example in this random vod from 2 days ago he is smurfing with a silver account: http://www.twitch.tv/zlfreebird/b/523785635?t=173m38s

I like to second this, KnowMe has atm the most consistent and probably best German playerstream with a lot of commentary and explanations of his thoughts behind his play. He also streams sometimes clanwars of his team Alternate.

I'd like to recomend kaitlyn be featured. www.twitch.tv/kaitlyn She streams a massive amount with a lot of viewers; she has been in the top 50 streamers list every month this year and top 100 from last year overall, always putting up huge hours. + Show Spoiler +February - 139hrs March - 111hrs April - 134hrs May - 186hrs She goes to lots of lans including OCN Lan, Lan ETS, the upcoming MLG, also IeSF in Romania where she beat StarTale Aphrodite to come in third. The amount of time she spends producing starcraft content for the community makes her a good candidate imo.

Protech. Get that dude featured again. He's really good at what he does and it's entertaining to watch. He used to be featured, and averages like 400 people whenever he streams. I'd say that's more worthy than some of the other people who are already featured. Not to mention, he streams pretty regularly. http://www.twitch.tv/protech

While I'm sure he appreciates the gesture, ProTech has made it clear he does not wish to be featured on TL, and goes so far as to say that he enjoys more viewership without being featured. We no longer have to have such a debate over featuring him, as ProTech is happy as is

And so you should, like mentioned before I don't care about the featured status here, being on front page rotation on twitch is way more than enough, thanks though.

100% Accurate, I do not wish to be featured here. I do however want my questions answered. You TL.Net have many featured streams that have the same if not more bad manner. The reasons you originally gave me was utter bullshit, based on the things I witness on a day to day basis.

What were those original reasons? I'd imagine that there are a lot of variables to take into consideration, and so the streams might be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

" Racist , Transphobic , Homophobic chat. "
However, this is actually the second time they've defeatured my stream. The first time, was due to simply " Bad manners "
And furthermore, I've made it abundantly clear that I am none of the above, people say things as jokes sometimes, and of course in the masses there's always the few that take it out of context and ruin your name.
EDIT: Quoting a viewer in my chat: " I'm a fag, and I've never felt unwelcome here. " Then he donated $20
Does it justify joking about stuff like that? No it doesn't. However it's not a reason to de-feature a stream based off that, and furthermore, when you have things like that going on other featured streams you can't possibly be serious in de-featuring my stream because of it.
The way I see it, there is some hidden agenda here, and personally I'm not out to get featured again but I do want the answers for my own peace of mind.
