A) He's not an A class progamer, B) He accuses half the ladder of maphacking and streamcheating, C) Every single game he loses is because of balance and not because of his own mistakes.
I don't think a player that has zero respect for the competition and doesn't respect the game he's playing enough to go 5 minutes without complaining is deserving of a spot as a featured streamer and as such obtains more viewers that other streamers are in my opinion more deserving of.
Anybody open for serious discussion?
Respect of the game / viewers / opponents is not a requisite for being featured. It's one thing if a person is spreading hateful values (like racism or using slurs, etc) - complaining about other races / hackers / etc is a different story. I do wish false accusations were dealt with more seriously in the community, but that's a discussion for another day.
Hate him or not, he did earn his viewer base, building up a following slowly over time to meet the viewership requirements for getting featured. To remove his feature for the reasons you listed (lightweight bad manners) would be unfair to the hard work he has put in. Additionally, it sets a dangerous precedent and might discourage other upcoming streamers / players from trying to get featured.
@TheoRy, agreed, MaSsan has been streaming a lot lately, is a mannered guy, and contributes to the community - assuming he meets the viewership requirements (which he definitely should by now), he deserves a feature imo.

Massan and Winter have been getting quadruple digit viewer numbers, regardless of what you think of them that's been a ticket to getting featured in the past. (avilo and Ms. Spyte)
|
Please feature Winter (zlfreebird) he's a great streamer!
|
I gotta say Winter is easily in my top 3.
|
Definitely should feature winter! I only started watching him like a few months ago but he is very entertaining to watch commentates his thought process and gives tips every time also the fact that he plays random at a masters level with every race is pretty impressive in itself.

i'd be up for featuring winter, but there is just a series of first posters supporting him. good or bad thing i do not know, but a bit strange.
Yeah my only post is for Winter because frankly there's no other streamer I could be bothered to go out of my way to support. And I don't have the game knowledge to comment on strats, builds and stuff.
But seriously, this kid is frankly a great entertainer with tons of knowledge to throw around and an inhuman dedication to the game. There's simply no streamer on his level, That's the only reason I don't really understand why he isn't featured on here when total retards like Avilo get featured.
On the one hand you get a spoiled little kid who whines and cries every damn game, who's every loss is to "balance" and who's only gimmick is acting like a spoiled little brat, and on the other hand you've got a kid who streams like 12 or 24 hours straight with NON STOP commentary and not just "fuck protoss, protoss OP, boohoo" type of commentary, real informative commentary that you don't even get during a Blizzcon tournament (I'm looking at you Tasteless "we're shifting the meta with a cannon rush tonight").
If you haven't watched one of his streaming sessions yet, I challenge anyone to find even ONE commentator on his level, you'll be amazed at how bleak the landscape is compared to him.
So yeah, fucking put Winter in the featured list, there's no reason not to, and lots of reasons to do it.

So turning on twitch stream and whining about balance for an hour is hard work? Impressive criteria...

I would like to up vote Winter (zlfreebrid) for the caster position. My reason being he gives Starcraft 2 players good manners of play as well as proper knowledge of races. As in not claiming one race is stronger than another which comes from his experience of being a Grand Master Random. I also feel his stream future popularity would not be heavily effected as it has been growing at a fast but steady rate. +1 Winter

Can you implement a way to hide individual streams?
Seeing avilo on the featured list offends me and makes me despair that people actually watch him.
|
I would like to nominate reckful at: http://www.twitch.tv/reckful/ Get thousands of viewers when he streams, he mostly streams hearthstone now. He was also recently at blizzcon, you know the invite only one. I think he would be a fantastic addition.

HTOMario really should be on the list here, I've had the pleasure of casting in the SC2 scene for over 2 years now and I can honestly say the guy is a pleasure to view. He's polite, informative, gives intuitive information and advice to all his viewers. He's been recognised by Day9 and featured for his innovations into the meching style and It be a real joy to see more of his work on the public front of TL.

Dear Sir or Madam,
in this post I would like to apply for being featured on teamliquid.net as a Starcraft 2 streamer.
My name is Niklas Behrens, I am 25 years old and my ID is "Honor". I am playing Protoss for the professional Starcraft 2 team Alien Invasion and resumed playing SC2 4 months ago after pausing about one year for work. Since then I have made it back to the EU Grandmaster League. I've made the decision to become a professional gamer and to try establishing myself a name in eSports. Besides playing the game, I launched the German SC2 school www.bonjwa.de one month ago, where I am creating strategy guides and educational SC2 content together with other pro-gamers. Since I have been resuming my activities as a gamer, I also started to stream again and have been in the TOP 50 TL streamer list in every month until now. I stream most of my ladder sessions via TwitchTV and give insight into my train of thought while playing. I comment in German and in English and provide my viewers with usefull tipps. My main streaming times are on Sundays from 13pm until 18pm and on Thursdays from 17pm until 21pm. On Sundays I comment in German, on Thursdays in English. Additionally I stream several times a week spontaneously. (For the rest of the month I took a break from my computer and I will not stream until the new year started). I work hard on my skills as a gamer and as a streamer and hope to get featured on TL.net. Thanks for reading my application, I'm looking forward to your answer.
