Will the TSL3 only be cast in English?
I am a Chinese caster from Taiwan, as SEn will be participate in this tournament. It draw some attention in Taiwan community. I love Day9 and he is the best caster in my heart. But fans in the Taiwan starcraft community will like to see Chinese coverage. Is there any plan for that? I have sent contact to the site and pm some admin, haven't got any respond yet.
If there is no current plan for that, I would like to recommend myself. I have been doing casting since the release of the game. Have been doing coverage for most of the Taiwan tournament, show match. Also some tournament in TL. I am the official caster for FXOpen Series. I am living in US, have no problem communicate in both English and Chinese. Been following the scene in NA and Korea.

I can vouch for his quality, I just watched some of his youtube streams and he's very good; if a bit too many Sen games but I understand the patriotism

It would be nice to have a Chinese speaking caster cast the TSL. I'm sure the Taiwanese and Chinese would want to have a Chinese stream!

Im semi fluent in chinese and I would love to watch this stream. I would offer to cast, but I dont know if my 3 years of experience is enough = \. 走運.

Restreams and recasting is currently being discussed internally. Expect an answer, but don't expect it soon. The TL machine moves slowly.

Would love to see that, but maybe TL should consider contacting real proffesional chinese caster (like the ones from ESWC, dunno tho if they are into SC2, since it is yet to be released in China), it would be awesome to see the chinese community emerging with the western community. Such great talents in China would make the tournaments (if there is no lag) so much better
go for it

There are some professional Chinese casters and commentators. I'm sure that they'll do their own coverage of TSL just as they've done their own coverage of GSL.
|
I'm not sure about that. TSL would generally be covered in articles rather than stream/VOD. Also English commentary are generally uploaded straight to video sites in China. The PLU stream had one of their casters absent when Loner of all people was playing in Code A, imagine how much enthusiasm they will put into TSL.
Anyway, if OP needs any help with Chinese commentary I'd lend a hand. Whether it's casting or research, also my experience is mainly with mainland community.

It will be great if you can help, I don't really have connection nor knowledge in Mainland Chinese community.

They kind of doing it illegally, at least from what I heard. If gom give vods to them, the least they can do is give them higher quality.

Interestingly enough they always try to make out some things the Korean commentators said.

yeah they usually stream the GSL games on PPStream or whatever that program is called, there are also some Chinese shows on there about SC2 (playing on Korean server or something, I dunno)

They stream on PPStream? On ppstream all i can find is sc1 game and that sc2 game show.
For what I know they restream throu Plu, which is a huge Chinese starcraft forum. And in the mid season 3 due to some copy right claim. Stream was shut down. And they only release vod on youku after. Don't know if they stream or not, but they have their own overlay and prompt their site product between game. Which made me doubt they have partnership with Gom.

Well now Loner is in, I'm sure they will be even more interested in having it casted. Hopefully they will also get some other languages to cast officially, like KHALDOR for Germany.
