I couldn't get the sound to work despite it previously working perfectly so I reinstalled adobe live media encoder. Then when I tried to stream with the exact same settings I got.

Anyone have any ideas?
Edit: Found solution to this on page 7 of this topic. Got everything back to where I started, now I'm just trying to resolve the sound issue. Everything is configured exactly the same as in the op of this topic and it used to work perfectly.

I can get my mic working, but I want to stream the gamesounds rather than the microphone. The only options I have in camtasia and FLME for device are mic and line in, both of which result in streaming mic sounds. Any ideas would be appreciated. Try going to Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Audio -> Under Sound Recording click Volume -> Instead of Microphone choose Stereo Mix or What You Hear Is What You Get (something like that, depends on your audio card). These are instructions for WinXP, should be similar for Win7 too. Thanks but I've already done that. Weird though cause it looks like I have the same problem.

Currently redownloading the Realtek Stereo Mix Drivers in the hope that helps.

Also, if you have multiple soundcards, make sure that correct one is chosen when applying those settings in Control Panel.

I am now able to select the "what I hear" option on camtasia. Unfortunately I appear to have fucked the sound on my computer and now I cannot hear anything.

Thanks for bringing this back up, i am going to hopefully fix my stream, sorry again to all of the viewers

Try applying this registry patch and see if it helps: http://www.mediafire.com/?364l65ejk3co67i (extract, double click -> yes)

So... I'm trying to stream BW. Podcast for livestream is crap because you can't play fullscreen. I tried using UStream, but I can't use Rage's guide because it's impossible to grab Camtasia 4 and it doesn't work with Cam 6 (the one I have on cpu). I tried to use what SC2ers are doing, and failed miserably. Anyone know of a way?

You can just google a random cd key that someone posted on a forum or commented on some torrent site if you don't have one.

So I've got everything right... except when I try to launch my stream it tells me my Primary URL is wrong. I have a ustream and a livestream channel, but I'm using the example solely from the mogulus thing. Can someone please please please show me how I should write the Primary URL for either.

Hello, I am a streamer here at TLnet, SC2 / BW streamer. I recently started playing BW again and streaming again as well, I have the same problem that it seems alot of people are having, I am trying to stream in fullscreen mode on windows vista, the problem is I get sound, but the viewers can't hear the sound on the stream when I am in fullscreen, I don't have stereo mix, ' what you hear ' or any of the options in the guide, I've tried everything and actually have been trying to figure this out on my own for over a month now, with no success.
I would really appreciate it if someone knew how to use virtual audio cables, or any other way to fix this common issue so I can stream BW in fullscreen mode, I have virtual audio cables but I can't figure out how to set them up, and I already read the thread on VAC too, no success. Thanks alot, please PM me or just post answer here if you know how to fix it, or can help.
Thank you.

If you don't have stereo mix or ' what you hear ', try updating your sound drivers. You really should have that option.
