- Last episode of "Return of the After Talk". There will be a special next week apparently.
- Very rough summary/gist translation since I'm writing this while I watch so things may not make sense.
- They also talked about the OSL but I didn't think it was that important.
Post Season - STX, Match Fixing
- Kim Carrier thinks STX will have the most difficulties. His reasoning is that if you look at other teams, there's always a player that you can always count onto perform. STX does not have such a player. He does not believe STX will find that player in the two weeks.
- Uhm mentions when they were talking about Samsung, about how there's a player who is the spiritual center of a team, like Frozen in Samsung. When Frozen left, Samsung was very shaken. Uhm believes Hwasin played that role in STX.
- Kim Carrier mentions how teams with players involved in match fixing was shaken by this, about how CJ barely made it to the playoffs, how Sparkyz has been completely destroyed.
- Uhm: If STX does not overcome this, they're not going to have a chance.
- Kim Carrier: Why is KT so good? Because there are a lot of players that you can count on other than that player. Like Flash.
Post Season - Who will make it to the finals to meet KT?
- Uhm: SKT has the highest chances, from the players... etc
- Kim Carrier: CJ over SKT on about 6:4. CJ has a good chance. MBC has little chance. For WeMade, Baby is very shaky lately.
- Uhm: The reason why WeMade will be shaky is because Baby lost his rainbow socks.
- Kindom: Really? The reason is because he lost his socks?
- Uhm: Really.
- Kim Carrier: In the aftershock of that, he was knocked out of Starleague with two losses
- Uhm: It's true! I asked him "Can't you buy the same rainbow socks" and he answered "That pair is a bit special".
- Kingdom: I think SKT
- Kim Carrier: CJ for me.
The reason you picked your teams?
- Uhm: Rather than Team Colors, I think what matters is how deep the players are. SKT has a lot of experience on the big stage, and has really gutsy players. The Coach is pretty good, but he needs the room to play out his strategies. This is why SKT has the advantage.
- Kingdom: Strategic plays are most important in the post season and SKT has coaches by race. CJ has two coaches and a manager, so they have 3 on the staff. Also, Effort, Snow, and Skyhigh are very good against Terran. But for SK... SK has very weak Terran players after Fantasy. It's unlikely SK will use more than one Terran players, and if they only use one, then CJ's strong points will backfire against them and SK's strong points will be highlighted
- Uhm: I think CJ's strong point is that they don't have a special weakness in their races. But for SK, their Zerg lineups suddenly revived and became a really scary team because of that.
- Kim Carrier: I don't know why I chose CJ now. I think it was just to go against Uhm when he chose SK.
- Kim Carrier: If you look at just the Terran and Protoss cards, SKT is definitely ahead.
CJ is better off in the mirror matches.
- CJ does not have a special weakness
- If you look at the S rank players, SKT definitely has more. But CJ has more A rank players.
- Uhm brings out how KT lost in 2005 at the finals, because they were so confident, they got sniped by SK. About how KT does have a scary force, Flash is losing quite often lately, but KT is still strong.
-Kingdom: KT has always been good in regular season, but weak in the post season. But they won Winners league this year. Half of the Jinx is broken. WIll manager Lee be able to end the jinx, or will Yellow's curse reign supreme?
-KC: The biggest reason why KT did well was because of Flash. But Flash isn't doing so well right now, and has built a losing streak in important Ace Matches. If you look at that...
- Kingdom: I think KT will win. 1) Because this Worldcup, the two teams that played in the finals never won a world cup, and 2) I think KT will continue their momentum from winner's league.
- KC: I think CJ or SK, one of those two teams will win.
- Uhm: I bet KT players are watching this and going "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS KIM CARRIER'S CURSE"
- KC: "YESSSSS?" more like "OLLEH!"
- Kingdom: When Flash comes to play on Proleague recently, he looked really stressed. He used to be so happy, but now he's really worrying about this. I think Flash may explode/fall at the Post Season.
- Uhm: I think the fact that Flash lost a lot in Proleague will become a medicine for Flash and he'll practice a lot more.
- Uhm: Last season, SKT challenged Hwaseung's coach that "whoever loses shaves their head" and Hwaseung's coach refused. Hwaseung's player saw this and saw that they lost the first battle. Will SKT's coach be able to make that bet this year?
- Kingdom: I would accept, and add more conditions. Not just the coaches, but the players. "Let's have the 2nd place team show up in the first match of next season with completely shaved heads"
- KC: KT's coach would go as far as to say "let's bet our positions on it".
- Uhm: You mean like "Okay, let's shave our heads, and also shave our eyebrows too"
- PD: Is this a tradition?
- Kingdom: They've always done this
