Man, I gotta catch up and watch all these VODs... heard nothing but good things.

The Chinese scene is so convoluted with so many quality (and at times inconsistent) players.

1. Are any of the broadcasters or players in S. Korea when the games go on? 2. Who's the favorite to win this tournament? 3. Of the two broadcasters, who's the "main" commentator and who's the "color" commentator? I just want to say that as a Starcraft fan who doesn't have a strong interest in WC3, it's been very entertaining to watch especially with two knowledgeable broadcasters. They're knowledge in WC3 is so ridiculously detailed that it's hard to follow, but their passion for the game makes the broadcast so fun to watch.

The commentators are in S.Korea, in the GOM Studio, right? 2. Group stage is almost through, so favorites are obviously those who are qualified already. From FoV and TeD in gr 1, I would see TeD as the more promising, as he has an absolutely *sick* Undead vs. Orc matchup (usually that is the one most blamed for imbalance). So my overall favourite would be TeD. 3. I'd say ToD is the main commentator and Rotterdam not really "colour", but more or less "sidekick", as he is the younger player and by far less successful in his career.

I'd not agree with TeD because while his UDvORC is very strong he seems to struggle against Grubby in my experience, but I may be out of touch.

But, I think it was more about racial/country balance and they wanted the 2 most famous EU players. TH wasn't playing that well when the invites were sent out too. All the S.Korean players are in SKorea obviously, but not in the studio. The casters are in the studio, ToD lives in Korea now and Rotter is over there for the cast. 2. I would say Grubby, he's looking really good online recently and he's the only orc left. (xD) 3. ToD. But I noticed Rotter was doing a lot of the casting yesterday. Yer, I was thinking while watching that I thought the casting might have been quite hard to follow for people who haven't played much WC3. But from feedback I guess that's what people want to see. TeD's Orc VS UD is very good, and plus he's always coming up with the new things in a lot of UD matchups. But, I would still say the orc is gonna be the favourite.

Also, I would say the commentators ToD and RotterdaM are equal, as they both contribute a lot to the calling, discussion and humour, however ToD has cast a GOM tourney before as well as been living in Korea for a while and so has the experience under his belt.
