I though Zest was going to take it, really bad luck losing the 2 oracles to the random queen day trip, but also his reaction time was very slow on that. Last game was exciting , but also not super high quality, like watching a dreamhack honestly.

I honestly think Rogue sent those queens to try to catch them. Because a walk without a creep wasn't really a thing anyway.

Did Rogue somehow know the returning path of Oracles?

They were around his main and the path to the natural/3rd was leading around the queens, so he may have bet that Zest will just move them back and won't watch?
Edit> We have to realize that they are now teammates and they play with each other for years now(like in genral), so Rogue probably knows about some Zests moves.

I believed he got the hateful comments when he chose to not playing the standard game that led to the long macro games but instead decided to go all-in, or using massive nydus/swarm hosts/infestors (being called abused by some) to win.

Yeah you were right because I watched the video again and saw the queens stopped marching at the moment after Oracles finished doing their job.

also there was no other reason for the Queens to be there as a 4 Queen attack at that point of the game isn't a thing
I'm a pretty big Rogue fan, so I'm glad to see him go through.
As much of a clown fiesta the games were, at least he gave me the suspense of going down 0-2 before then executing the reverse sweep. I feel really bad for the Zest fans who were a game away from seeing him leave the GSL with at least a finals appearance. I think both Rogue and Zest are good enough to steamroll Dream, especially with Rogue practicing with Maru.

Rogue was probably my favourite zerg to watch HotS. His creative builds were fun when he wasn't exploiting them to win world championships.
Lotta hate for Rogue's play here, but I love seeing it. He's so ridiculously good at executing kill moves and spotting weakness (and in a ridiculously broad variety of playstyles too).
Everyone's trying to play chess out there and Rogue's playing Poker with a knife strapped to his shoe.
Why is everyone hating on Rogue again? I mean, he played really cheesy yesterday. And he does it often. But yesterday I Zest was not too keen on playing macro games neither. I would argue only his double stargate build can clearly be considered a macro attempt and Rogue just crushed it. And especially the last game was more about handling Zest‘s build properly rather than cheesing him.

People forget that Rogue doesn't get paid for how many fans he has, or how entertaining his games are. He gets paid to win, and he will do whatever it takes to get that win, regardless of how much the audience hates it.
