Or did the organizers pull some sort of BS that let them invite him over the player who won the last Katowice? Serral doesn't even play in GSL because he is convinced he has to play EU and international events being european xD He will definitely play in EU qualifiers next week.

Inviting the Blizzcon champ has been standard for the last few years I think. It at least happened last year when Serral was the Blizzcon champ. Pretty sure Rogue got invited after the 2017 Blizzcon as well.

I guess he is invited in the 2nd stage EU Qualis, which gives him like a 98% chance to qualify Wonder more about Reynor, I would have guessed he is invited there , too. Maybe he just wanted to play some sweet Starcraft and crush some NAoob dreams

Maybe he just wanted to play some sweet Starcraft and crush some NAoob dreams He said on twitter this qualifier was his only shot because he couldn’t play in the EU one. Does he mean because of ping because he is in Korea or something, or because he is traveling to his new team during EU qualifier? What happened to TY wtf, worst upset than Clem - INno...

Some sort of combination of playing bad and ping that also embarassed Rogue and Stats. But unlike them TY had lower bracket to redeem himself. BCs are way better than tempests especially if there's only a handful of each.

I gues if you see no chance whatsoever to make it and you don t want to take it as practise tournament, there is no reason to sign up to in the 1st place as a Semi-Pro Korean.. Edit: and for foreigners it is probably the easiest to get to round 2 but the hardest to actually qualify with server disadvantage
