That fourth game was really incredibly played by both players, Maru misplayed this last game though. Was so hype to see Maru do well in this tourney if only he could have taken down Stats, could've been the finals for sure.

The quality of the games proves it. Such a shame that Maru goes out so early but Stats made the adjustment necessary and deserve to advance. Yeah Stats playing well like he did in IEM. I would say Maru no. 1, Stats no. 2, Serral no 3 and then maybe Classic or Dark as no. 4.

Wp by Stats, amazing player as always, the game 4 was so tense ! Protoss is really fun to watch in lotv even if Phoenix are still triggering me.

I mean.... he just got a FAT check less than a couple of days ago. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that he's taking it easier after being paid rock star levels of money.

I like to watch diversity in my sc2

He also said many times that he takes breaks during events like these so he can practice harder for the ones with more money ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On another note, hopefully soO or Dark can win here now. With Maru out their chances go up a lot, especially for soO. No terrain is good for him

Look at INno after WESG. look at soO after IEM.. Sure once the real match starts anybody gives it all. But i am sure Stats got more grinding time this few days between GSL finals and now.

Every interview from the super tournaments and GSL vs TW last year he said he took a break after practicing so hard for the Code S finals he had just won
