Is there any go-to Zerg/Terran opener that is safe to play yet allows me to actually survive for a bit? basic hatch first is 17h 18g 17p or to go a little safer you can go 17g 17p 19h for a speed opening. if you remember HOTS builds they're pretty much the same just with different overlord timings and you tend to get an earlier third because of fast minerals. not sure about terran but i know basic reaper opener is still just 14 depot and then rax-gas

If I drop 2 mules on saturated base that has a full limit reached of 16 workers, will my mules mining different minerals each bring its full load together with the scv's or some scvs wont bring full mining load ? I read that mules mine over scv's also I remember reading that it was patched and mules take spot instead, also I heard that mules dont mine over each other on the same one mineral patch. Will mules together witch harvesters bring their full load when dropped on full saturated base ?

Why have top protosses lately been building a wall at their natural? (see for example, sOs vs Classic in the most recent GSL matchup yesterday, where both of them did it).

if you meant walling the main then same answer, to block 2gate adept shades into the main

Thanks for the answer.

Is starcraft master round 12 "friendly fire" still possible? I don't want to admit how much time I have spent trying this god damn level. I've cracked and watched youtube vods, followed them to a tee. And nothing. Can't do it. I get very close, but there's always something left. Did they upgrade tanks or something that fucked up this level? I did it years ago when it first came out, now I can't. I'm so frustrated right now.
OH MY GOD I DID IT WITH ONE SECOND LEFT PRAISE JESUS NEVER MIND

I'm Protoss, what is good against cyclone is low numbers early game? e.g. 2 cyclone push.

which hotkeys I can use or how to leave carrier interceptors in battle and fly away with empty carriers ?

On July 10 2018 08:15 NExt wrote: I'm Protoss, what is good against cyclone is low numbers early game? e.g. 2 cyclone push. – A wall at the natural because they often make 2 hellions and run past your defense to kill probes while you deal with the cyclones
– Keep the oracle at home with the adepts if you opened stargate, or chrono a 3rd stalker if you opened blink
– Shield battery behind the wall at 3.20
If the reaper survived, make sure to block your wall with all units so they can't grenade and run in with the hellions.
These responses put you behind if they don't go double cyclones, so keep your scouting probe alive and hide it from the reaper before it finishes, then scout again for a factory switch on the barracks' reactor (which should happen at 2.45 so the scout timing depends on how far you hid your probe). Best case scenario you can build a pylon below the factory as it switches add-on and hilariously win the game.

60fps in sc2 is fluently? I only notice not fluently when lower than 30fps. Even if I decrease the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1024x768, it does not change the fps at all. Surely my 2017 gpu is stronger than 2010 cpu. Maximum fps is 61 in sc2^^. Diablo3 gets 105 fps on 1980x1080.

Is this a question or a statement..?
60fps in sc2 is minimum. The majority of monitors runs on 60hz, and you want to be able to match that or preferably much higher. The reason you want more fps than the monitor can show isn't because it will create any kind of noticeable effect on the screen itself just by looking, but because it makes it take less time between the input of a mouse or keyboard click until it is shown on screen (It's a bit complicated to explain, but the gist of it is that a "click" can come at any point in time between two frames, so you want to minimise the time between frames as much as possible). This might only be noticeable if you're very good at the game, so 60 fps for the average user is fine. It certainly won't be the reason you lose a game.
Decreasing resolution doesn't always achieve anything, and can in fact a lot of the time decrease fps instead of increasing it. Stick to your monitor's default (Unless it's more than 4k, at which point stick to 1080p).
gpu and cpu does vastly different things. You need both to have decent fps (If your 2010 cpu is bottlenecking the computer, no amount of gpu upgrade is going to help).
There are guides you can google on how to optimise fps in sc2.

perfectly explained thank you. I was only looking how to avoid <30pfs and why coop commander stukov is always lagging at late stage (still unsolved) and han&horner mass reapers (solved -> physics off). 1v1 and 2v2 games are fluently like before.

But definitely NOT adepts. sentry stalker shield battery immortal. build at least 2 shield batteries, 3 is fine if you're scared. you should always have a pylon in front of your natural both for shield batteries and to wall off with your 2nd and 3rd gates (this is needed against hellions). depending on map sometimes you can catch a cyclone for some HP damage with a force field. if it's a dedicated attack or if you don't know whether he's going to keep attacking after the first 2 cyclones then just keep chrono boosting immortals. if his cyclone push is hitting you and you don't have shield batteries or immortals then you can pull probes, better to pull probes than die. scout terran's gas before he walls his main - if he takes 2 fast gas then cyclones are likely, but it could also be any other tech build like widow mine drop or banshee.
