I would imagine that for gaming it would be the same. Once you're into the game and moving your hands actively they will stay warmer than they would at a resting state.

PAM-PA-RA-RAM! A friend of mine had Hot Spot hand warmers that you would boil after use and could re-utilize. I don't know how many times tho. You can find some here: http://beprepared.com/product.asp?pn=CW W500&sid=FROOGLE&EID=FRCW W500&bhcd2=1291307330 But my advise is to use disposable ones. http://www.warmers.com/Category.aspx?Cat=67&vis=0 This is what I'd use for snowboarding. You can get 40 pairs at about $50 which means that $100 will last you for the whole winter. And you can either hold them or put them in your gloves or in your pants, whatever makes you happy.

Get some beads (not plastic because they'll melt, just get some dry beans) and pour them into a cloth bag, sew it shut, then microwave for a minute or so. Comes out hot and it'll warm your hands quickly. Cheap and very reusable. <<<<< WORKS VERY WELL, CONSIDER IT!You could also have poor circulation. Natural Treatment for Poor Circulation in Hands and Feet * Massage hands and feet with diluted essential oils such as lavender and rosemary. * Take hot herbal tea on a regular basis to improve blood circulation in hands and feet. Wiggle your toes when you feel too cold. * Take food stuffs rich in vitamin C and Vitamin E. They boost the blood circulation in the body. You can take these vitamins in tablet form as well. * Increase the intake of garlic. Garlic prevents the formation of plaque in the blood vessels, and hence helps in proper circulation of blood. * You can also eat watermelons for the above mentioned effect. They do it with a pigment called lycopene present in them. Lycopene gives watermelon its red color. * Eat pumpkin or pumpkin seeds. It cures poor circulation of blood in hands and feet by hindering blood coagulation. This also helps in thinning the blood. * Avoid handling cold objects. For example, use a tong to pick ice cubes. * Avoid wearing tight-fitting footwear. Check how to improve blood circulation in the body for more on the same.
