You know I dislike the whole Korean domination like most but it is fair.
Those Koreans like MMA und jjakji, they sacrificed their whole future for this game. It's their life unlike westerners who go to school or attend university. It's pretty obvious that someone who spends 24/7 on SC2 beats someone with only half their dedication

The big red line was always there, the actions from the last 2 days don't change much about that. It's just so frustating to watch, that Vortix and Snute were 4-0 in series against MMA and Jjakji during Vasacast and WCS ro16 and now suddenly that happened. The power of good preparation I guess.
Exactly. It was really confusing to me that people were actually calling Snute and Vortix favorites just because of a few Vasacast and Ro16 games... MMA and Jjajki are super elite players that turn up even more when given time to prepare for a single opponent

thats what i meant. people were so excited after the Zergs topped their groups, predicting them to beat MMA and jjakji etc.
and then they just got outplayed so badly. it was art
People always bet against Korean Terrans in these situations. People thought that TLO was going to crush Mvp as well back in WCS Season 1 last year as well.
I love building the hype just to watch as all of their hopes crumble.

thats called casting
im pretty sure he knows tvz better than you
To be honest.. Saying that a player is still in it after just losing 38 drones because his creep spread is good... Doesn't require a progamer to realise that such things are pretty much game enders.
Ret has become what he has most feared. A hype caster.
Well, I still haven't seen/heard a caster that doesn't have this tendency. Also, by saying things like this, they avoid being "wrong" by saying things like: "Snute is NEVER gonna come back from this" (in case a miracle actually occurs).
They could give MMA credit for the lead that he has though and go the "Can we see Snute to the impossible and come back from this psoition!"-route rather than the "I'ts still a close game and anyone can take it!"-idea that most casters go with for the, as you say, chance of avoiding being dead wrong on a game over call.

The power of actually being good at starcraft
Yeah, Vortix defeated MMA, Jjakji at Vasacast and MMA again at WCS ro16, because he is not actually good at Starcraft, your logic is absoulutely flawless here...

You bet against a Korean Terran.
I didn't bet against MMA, I fully expected him to win at any point. That doesn't make it less frustrating to watch though.

He's saying that iron Squid crowd > any other crowd :D
Iron Squid crowd is amazing, I could not attent to IS2 but I went to Meltdown during the final, the atmosphere was awesome, people started to sing " Life is life " when he won this game on Antiga Shipyard. I miss IS. :'(
