I would love it if English casting was on par with the Korean casting but if they want a fully robust service then they should do this. An added benefit of having two Korean leagues now is we will probably start to see stuff like this. OGN and GOM will be competing with each other, and while GOM has been no slouch when it comes to improving this will provide more incentive.

League of Legends and DoTA are also getting to be pretty big pretty fast...

I was never apart of BW, got into SC2 late into the game, but that doesn't mean I cannot express myself thoughtfully. Same can be said about most of this forum.

The people that knows this kind of stuff claims that a game can't become longterm (note longterm) successfull unless it has a proper developed market with competent companies that supports it. That it is only "popular" won't be enough in the long term. Will be interesting to see if this will hold true between LoL, highly popular, at least right now, against SC2, not as popular or as high player base but with a far more established market, specially after OGN/Gretech/KESPA/Blizzard now all support SC2. But KESTA, OGN and Riot also support LoL, so in that sense they are in almost even footing. What we need to see is if the majority of BW fans/viewers change to SC2 too, only the players is not enough. Let's hope so, that way the Starcraft brand can continue to grow and improve. Edit: And OGN has Torch and Moletrap, they are casting League of Legends now, but they can easily change to cast SC2.

Also I feel we will need Golden Mouse awards and all that jazz since we may see some genius players winning it all

No need to be so aggressive about it, im not flaming anyone, which was the point of my short post, i was writing a longer review on the stuff that mattered to me personally without trying to flame, however since this is on SC2 and not on BW, even that would be considered flaming or trolling on purpose, which is why I just summarized it to "let's hope for the best of Esports", which, in the end, is what matters to me. Have a nice day Write your opinion. Even if you shit on SC2, input/discussion is always welcome because over passivity makes the forums bland. At the very least it's preferable over subtle insults, which is how I took your comment (maybe that wasn't your intention, I don't know).

Also I feel we will need Golden Mouse awards and all that jazz since we may see some genius players winning it all By then, Blizzard will surely have implemented the technology to restart a game from a replay or maybe auto-save a game during a disconnect. In BW you can save a multiplayer game. Once saved, you can rejoin it (the game will go to the lobby again where you can simply arrange the teams). Once resumed, the game starts off exactly as it was when saved. I don't know if, if you save a game after a player has left and then rejoin it, whether the game lobby will support both players again though. (If you were wondering, the reason why game saving isn't used in pro BW was because it was unneeded for the most part due to LAN and because saving the game pauses the game for 2-3 seconds which interrupts the game flow. If there was an auto save on disconnect, that would be different of course.) Anyway the point is. The technology is there! Somewhere at least. Maybe in HotS it will come.

LoL has 15-30 times the playerbase while still not much bigger in the viewership department when comparing its respective large tournaments. don't know what it means, but take that as whatever you will
