Throw weapon : Throws a large axe.
Ok so how much damage does it do? Any secondary effects?... oh, you're not going to tell me are you? I believe the left control key provides advanced information for tool tips. It should give all the combat stats. Hope that helps . I still didn't get in... >.>, oh well, I just want a release date.
Thanks for the info, I'll try that out. It doesn't change the fact that they are ridiculously simplified though. I know they want 5 year old kids and everyone's grandmother to be able to play this game but there's a freaking limit to dumbing it down.

Honestly, in defense of less information, I'm probably going to turn off damage displayed when I hit an enemy, if that's at all possible. As far as gear and abilities are concerned, it always boiled down to a few optimal builds(with requisite gear) in DII anyway, so what if it doesn't take as long to figure out?

I'm not sure I understand your point.
What I'm talking about is that the skill descriptions don't tell you what they do.
It used to be, for example. Throw axe : Throws a large axe that does 110% weapon damage and slows enemies by 50% for 10 seconds.
Now it's : Throw axe : Throws a large axe.
That's not a precise example since I made up the stats but yeah, to me it's a necessity to have the skill information be up there with no hassle. I haven't had a chance to test if left-control works yet but it's still not something I should have to ask a forum. It's one of the most basic things in the game. Diablo 1 got that right. I'm pretty I can look at old Ultima games (1981) and it still gives you the skill information more precisely than Diablo 3. That's not right.

Yeah but the simplified tooltips are atrocious though. For the Monk they don't even explain that the attacks are combos that perform some effects only if you go through the whole chain or that Mantra's provide a short term benefit in addition to the aura.

I had my key long ago, played through it once with barb and got bored halfway with demon hunter. My roommate got his key a couple days ago, so we played it through in co-op - and it's SO MUCH MORE FUN in co-op! Recommending co-op play to people that have keys (and good luck to those that don't have it yet).

Outside of that they only need top system specs to insure an encompassing data pool and to make sure any gamebreaking bugs don't occur with those systems.

I got 2 invites at same time for both my accounts, similar build except 2500k, gtx 580, 8gb ram and ssd. Maybe Blizzard looks at gpu more than others, just my 2 cents.

They are not keys anymore, just invites.

anyway diablo is alot more relaxing than sc, you never really get pissed in it (except dying in hardcore or getting smacked in pvp). I played sc for 4 years, d2 for 5, and I can definitely say I got more enjoyment from diablo

Love how today they had the server down for maintenance, and every time i try to log in, the predicted "up-time" has been pushed back to two hours later. Blizzard: Always true to their reputation

If anybody has a spare key, I would be insanely grateful <3!
