I've never considered writing my forte, so instead of writing up a nice blog or post for my 1k, I decided to write a song for mafia. The title is a bit deceiving, as this isn't really a theme song, but just a song about mafia.
I decided to try to write a mafia game, and use that as a source of inspiration, so I've included my notes on what part of the story I was trying to tell. Hope you enjoy!
0:00 - Death of the Hero's -Day 1- 1:18 - PM's go out 1:27 - Mafia team forms up 1:43 - The godfather(French horn) is chosen 1:58 - The blue's rise up. 2:34 - The frantic hunt begins. 3:18 - The scummy lurker is lynched... 3:21 - ...And the blood runs green (Nine tailors) -Night 1- 3:46 - The DT sneaks off 4:20 - The mafia come out in force 4:36 - The DT catches a glimpse of red 4:39 - CHEZINU's THEME! (Halarious spam) 4:59 - Now back to the good part 5:18 - The handiwork of the mafia is found -Day 2- 5:38 - Suspicion sets in 5:53 - A more cautious hunt is set in motion 6:37 - The tenesion mounts 6:51 - CHEZNU SRIKES AGAIN! 7:06 - The town is on the right track! 7:22 - The mafia undermine the town 7:38 - The blues save the day! 7:58 - But the mafia gets the last word!
Thanks to GMarshal for making me think that a spur of the moment crazy idea might actually be a good one, and thanks to Aidnai, who's computer was instrumental in the production of the song.

Just curious, how did you go about making something like this and how long did it take you?
I used a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) called FL studio (Software) to write the song, and I used a sample library for the sound sources. (If you don't know, essentially, someone took an orchestra and had them play every note they can play individually and recorded each one, then I play them back as if i were playing the instrument. That way I don't have to pay musicians. It doesn't sound as good, but it's not bad.)
It took me 9 days from start to finish to write that, all in all 21 hours of work.
