Is this a sign of times ?, an unavoidable thing that happens? (for one thing, people not thinking tl is THE place to make your starcraft home anymore?) ?
Just now : + Show Spoiler + 2 days ago + Show Spoiler +
Maybe custom arcade games streamers emerging at last could help?

Rotterdam streams from time to time, but I see more weekly tournaments than individual streamers as well. There are YouTube channels of some streamers though.

Yes oups .. just to be clear I was saying there are always streamers / low viewer sc2 streamers on twitch but (for the very low viewer counts streamers) "they" just don't come on tl and "use" it as a hub anymore .. was my p o v ...
(not to mention the 24/7 channels elephant in the graveyard in the room conundrum making things even worse!!!)
Sad to see this I am !

this was always a brood war site anyway. Things are just going back to how they used to be.

This is anecdotal, but from what I know a lot more people than you'd expect still use TL.net as a hub to get to streams and videos (it was a lot more than I was expecting, at least).

im up there sometimes but im back to bw until they do a patch that's coherent.
8 worker was starting to ramp up but then they reverted it back to what killed it in the first place.
play sc2 in sc1 queues

I agree Mizenhauer, people definitely still use the sidebar to check out who is streaming and what, or what exactly like which match-up in a tournament.
As for lack of SC2 streams, yeah SC2 streams aren't doing hot (for lots of reasons) but one factor is certainly that there's been few people added to the featured list in the first place. For instance, Strange is streaming SC2 right now, but he's not a featured streamer. There's not really a pipeline of "growing SC2 streamer " -> featured.

play sc2 in sc1 queues yuppp, people were saying the worker change was killing the game, things don't look better even with the revert. People just don't want to play SC2 anymore is what I'm noticing. We need a SC3 or it will be back to BW.

I had tl as my homepage for the longest time, until they started spoiling events with spoiler tags not working.
It's a shame tl is way superior to reddit where you get trained in having memory like a gold fish. If the comment is older than 3 days, I won't even bother.
I can't bother with twitch with their ads going against even the creators, and a culture of treating chatters like dirt.
Youtube is the place to be and if sc2 content makers started doing better content rather than boring face on screen for too long sc2 would do better. Just see Grubby. Harstem is probably the best sc2 example. But as we saw in his video ladder is not doing too hot right now.

doesn't bother me personally, shield battery came out with a ladder that i've been wanting for 30 years.

It’d be great if you or others could share a list of quality SC2 streamers who should be more noticed on the sidebar. I see no reason why we don’t consider new candidates.

There are still some users who us tl.net as a hub for viewership, but as per my analytics it's pretty much non-existent, same for streamers like puck or special. It doesn't really drive viewership the way it used to unfortunately.

I use TL.net 95% of the time to access sc2 streams (mainly tournaments being streamed) rather than directly on Twitch of afreecaTV -> it allows you to see all streamers at once, and the liquipedia page for bracket Mostly by habit and because it’s easier to see all the streamers at once and for which event

I think what is also totally interesting (for me ) is in general how the forums stats look like...I dont even know how long i m here, but i guess most of us a bunch of old people :D
