I have tried using google, but I openly admit I suck at software. There are supposedly a million fixes, (even found a registry edit fix here on TL!) I can't get any to work.
My system:
I7 2600K 3.4 turbo slight over to 4.0 (Corsair H-100 cooled)
MSI AMD 7970 twin frozr (with the new AMD drivers- I believe the culprit)
8 GB corsair RAM
600W PSU
Asus mobo
Do you really need to know my hardware any more than that? Then post what you want I'll update the op
I'm running Win7 64 bit and installed the win7 fix put up elsewhere on TL. Broodwar now crashes my entire computer btw.
No overclocks on the GPU. It's far faster than anything I need stock.
Ask away, and all help is appreciated even if it doesn't work for me, it may work for others!

The terrors of the past are in that spoiler. However, good ol' AMD has fixed these issues!
Here is what you need to do, it is very easy:
Go Here (in another tab or browser if your memory is short)
Follow the instructions for a complete uninstall, this is a necessary step or AMD may say you are already up to date
install it
open starcraft
If you don't know how to do that without more in-depth step-by-step instructions PM me and I will walk you through it.
