Sad to see you go but good luck in your future endeavors Meerel! ^^
I'll learn a lot from your maps and texturing skills, thanks man.

Till next we meet, Meerel.

breaking point is one of my all time favourite maps.

Roadrunner is the best Starbow map ever made. Thank you for your contributions in the community!
|
You have my farewell, and blessing in whatever you do. Your legacy of maps named after Metallica songs will live on in spirit... maybe. That was kinda weird. I'll see what I can do though.

NA map pool for Starbow is entirely made using your download pack. It fits the Starbow style play soooooo well.
The proportions of BW ports are huge compared to actual sizes. I had to reduce unit movement speeds by 10% to get the same rush distance still x.x.
Means SC2 units are probably around 50-60% faster than their brood war counterparts O.O.

a real treasure box <3
long live mapmakers everywhere

That port of Polaris Rhapsody is insanely good, and the Skygeirr cliffs for easy-to-make bridges was a clever idea - I think I'll plagiarize incorporate it into my next map.

After looking at all your maps again, some new, some old, I feel I should say,
Your maps always had an impressive angularity to them, they always reminded me that there are simply limitless possibilities, stuff that hasn't been done yet, and they always demonstrated what maps are supposed to be about - fun.
There were times when I got annoyed by the avalanche of BW remakes you did, but I suspect that had a large influence on your mapmaking in general too, and your original maps took after this style, making it difficult to tell them apart at times. Though you never got recognized with the likes of Superouman, LS, Jacky, etc. I feel it only right to say that you were one of the best mapmakers out there. There I said it.

I think at least 1 person per time we play Polaris Rhapsody comments on just how pretty it looks in game.
