Best of 1 in all rounds until the Round of 64 players is reached. At round of 64 and higher is a Best of 3. Once Round of 8 is reached the matches end, and the 8 players then move to Stage 2.

And yes only 4 players can qualify into it. The remaining 12 will be invites to fill a 16 man bracket. It said 8 from a previous paste. But I have fixed it. Thanks!

Now to enter the correct information in the value box you'll need to go to http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/ and log in. Near top right hand corner you will see your Starcraft 2 portrait and user name. Click the down arrow next to your username and select "Profile"
If you look at the url at the top of your browser now it should look something like: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/734635/1/pHaRSiDE/
You will want to copy and paste that into the value box on the gameaccount page on esl and then add the starcraft 2 character code after it. For example my account is pharside#358 so the data entered into the box would look like this:
http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/734635/1/pHaRSiDE/#358 click send and then you are done!
