Adam Apicella @MrAdamAp 2h We are excited to announce that our next #MLG Pro Circuit Championship event will be held in Columbus, Ohio, November 22 - 24.
Looks like no Summer Championship this year.
Sundance has been teasting something about Las Vegas though, so maybe it's a unique event happening there instead?
Edit:
Sundance DiGiovanni @MLGSundance The Columbus announcement states the next 'championship' event will be held there...still room for a few surprises. Vegas?NYC?Seattle?
Okay, next Championship event November, other stuff happening instead in summer.

WCS must have drained MLG quite a bit.

._.
Only WCS for this summer. It's already nice.

gotta wait for those new consoles.

They are gonna do an event at Vegas, just not a Championship.

maybe arena's are coming back or something?
|
Wow that is a really long time. I wonder if for the console titles it will be next gen stuff, because I believe the ps4 and xbox one will be coming out a week before. So maybe the next CoD and Halo 5 will be there or something. I would expect it to be. As far as the sundance teasing something in Vegas, maybe they will do something like IPL did for SC II and LoL. Like a small little lan like those arena events, except letting people come watch. As far as daily content they lost that to NASL, and if I recall you can't air SC stuff while WCS is on right? So that pretty much would kill a night prime time broadcast. There isn't much of a reason to keep a inhouse casting crew if they don't have something to cast daily right?

Sundance did tweet they might have smaller events between now and then.

Having a medium sized Vegas event would be awesome, I'm sure a lot of sc2 people would love to go back there for another esports weekend.

Probably more arenas or showmatches.

Likely they couldn't find a venue that would be worth the time or they couldn't the right price for the space. No really surprised.

Seattle would be sick. Vegas always good as well.

Hopefully they announce something more than a month out so I can properly prepare/save money/request time off work.

Didnt they mention last year that there was going to be 6 major LAN events this year? Pretty disappointed

The year is only half way here and there have been 3 events. The only thing you should be disappointed in is your lack of foresight and thinking.
