You secured your spot for the Premier League next season. How do you feel?
I am so glad that I was able to make it through again. I was feeling uneasy because my condition was not the best today but I am glad that I was able to get through like this.
Why were you not in the best condition?
I hadn't been feeling well since last week. It was just a cold during then but it got worse today. I was sure I was done for so I'm relieved right now.
You won by a score of 2-0 but your match was not an easy one.
As it turned out, Avenge liked to play strategically so I was taken aback a little. Game 1 was pretty clean but game two was not a good performance by me because I kept thinking about strategies and played it safe.
Avenge really forced out some intense battles for game two. You could have been in a dangerous situation if that 11:00 hidden expo hadn't existed.
Avenge was really good at engagements. I think he knew exactly what Terran players detested playing against. But I figured that I was going to win no matter what because I had an expansion at 11.
The next season of WCS will be held at YongSan. You've played there for a long time so you will probably have an advantage.
This is true. Honestly, I like the GOMtv booths because you can pre-set your settings but I've played a ton of games in YongSan so there's an advantage there as well. I feel like I'm going to be able to make even better results than before.
You met with Life at the studio.
We didn't really get to talk for that long. I'm kind of bitter about that (laughs). At that time, I thought only I was going to get through but the end result was this (laughs).
Were you affected by the Ro16 elimination?
Normally, I forget about anything that happens to me after about an hour or two. I was really mad at that time, but about an hour later I was laughing as I was enjoying my meal. I was able to realize that I needed to have prepared more extensively. I am going to make sure that I win the next time a chance like that arises.
Next season's goals?
I want to get to the semi-finals so that I can ensure my spot in the season finale. I feel a little uneasy about it since it'll be in Europe but I want to make the semi-finals no matter what (laughs).
Anything else you would like to say?
I am relieved these days because it feels like I've found my funk again. I am going to make sure that I can use this momentum to do well for both Proleague and individual leagues. Lastly, it's Stats' birthday so I want to congratulate him and let him know that I am going to buy him a delicious meal, so I hope he waits for me at the team house.

You advanced to the Premier League for next season. How do you feel?
I came here with a peaceful mindset so I am glad that I was able to advance like this. I wasn't feeling any pressure since I knew I still had Up/Downs even if I did lose today.
You unfortunately got eliminated from your Ro16 group. Were you affected?
Not really. I just know that I did terribly. If I could do it over again, I would be confident this time (laughs).
Which match was the most displeasing?
The final match vs PartinG hyung was unbelievably horrible. I ended up losing a match that I could have won cause I had negative thoughts. I was also disappointed about the winners' match vs INnoVation. INnoVation played well and I played terribly.
What did you learn through your match against INnoVation?
I didn't really learn anything cause I did so terribly. I am going to have to prepare really hard the next time around. I'm not really doing well in televised matches these days.
Recently, it seemed like we saw you lose zergling vs hellion battles for the very first time.
INnoVation had excellent micro and I just played mindlessly.
What kind of thoughts did you have for your match against MKP?
Honestly, I was expecting him to do really well but he did not do so at all today (laughs). I noticed too much suppression from him. He keeps using all in builds that are bound to fail in the end. I really wish he would fix this about him (laughs). I was planning on playing macro games today but MKP came with a different plan in mind so I had to switch it up also.
You've never played a match in YongSan before.
That is a bit burdensome. But I need to be able to adapt as quickly as possible. I don't think the # of booths will really affect me all that much.
Next season's goals?
I want to be able to show my true skills for all my performances. That is my goal. I really don't think I'm doing well for my televised matches these days.
Anything else you would like to say?
I want to thank Sound hyung for helping me with practice. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsors Red Bull, ZOWIE, and Joy Gear.

You successfully advanced to the Premier League.
I feel like I haven't been here in a while. All I could think about while I was in Code B was when I would be returning here. I feel proud of myself because I was able to make it through like this.
You probably have an advantage because you started HotS early.
I do indeed. As the game transitioned from WoL to HotS, a lot of things just fit my style better. I'm seeing the synergy effects so I am making good results. But everything will start from here on out.
You must have been frustrated because of the lack of leagues lately.
I was really frustrated. I used to be so confident regardless of whatever league I participated in but there were no leagues available so I wasn't able to show anything. But since I did slowly make it back up, I am going to use this opportunity to show everything that I haven't been able to all this time.
How do you feel about balance? A lot of things have changed since the beta.
I think balance is pretty good right now. Now this game compliments the more diligent player, the player who can move faster, and the better player.
Your trademark is banshees, but it seems like HotS doesn't really promote banshee usage.
In the end, widowmines and hellbats are just more efficient than banshees. But I still have my own know hows for banshees that are available.
It's been a while since you've advanced to the Premier League. Anything that you're worried about?
None. I am really excited for what's to come because I know I have to play against the better players. I also feel more confident in myself because of this.
Your personal best was the quarter-finals of a Code S season.
I'm confident. I think I'm going to be able to do even better than ever before as long as I work harder.
Do you have anyone you specifically want to face next season?
I don't really want to pick a specific player. But I have noticed that the current Code S quarter-finalists have been receiving a lot of praise. So regardless of who I have to face, I just have this kind of greed to be praised at the highest place. Personally, I would like to be valued as highly as players like INnoVation and Flash. I've only ever played on ladder against those two but if I can just bring out my performances that I pull off during practices, I think I can rank as high as them.
Anything else you would like to say?
I want to thank my Protoss teammates for helping me with practice. Today, TOP and San left to participate in a Taiwanese league. They have to stay in Taiwan for about two months so I really hope they come back alive (laughs). I'm sure it will be difficult for them over there so I hope they take care of themselves. I want to thank my parents, my girlfriend, and my fans for always cheering me on. I want to thank our sponsors AZUBU and Razer. Oh and also, I hope a lot of people will show lots of love for AZUBUtv. I plan on streaming on AZUBUtv in a bit so I hope a lot of people will tune in for that.

You qualified for next season's Premier League.
I was really surprised that my Code A matches came up so quickly, seeing as how I just got eliminated from Code S last week. I was lacking in preparation but I think I was able to win like this because I got lucky.
There were a lot of back and forths for games one and two.
I was really lacking in practice. I wasn't sure of myself and I had no idea that my Code A match was going to creep up on me this quickly.
Unfortunately, you fell out of your Ro16 group. Were there any aftereffects?
Lately, I've played a ton of PvZs. Thanks to that, I ran out of build orders that I could use. It happened during my last game against RorO. So that's why my performance was disappointing.
For next season, you will have to play at YongSan.
I think GOMtv is more comfortable. There are a lot of booths and I like that I can play my matches in the same place where I can practice. A lot of reasons add up to my GOMtv is just really good.
Fellow teammates Soulkey and sOs will face off for the semi-finals.
Honestly, I'm kind of jealous of them but they're better players than me and their Proleague results are better also. I realize that I need to work harder in order to catch up to them.
You disappointingly fell out in the Ro16 of Code S, but it does feel like we saw your true strength through your performance.
My results for Proleague are not good so I still don't think I'm giving off the aura that I'm a good player. I'm still lacking a lot and compared to other players, I'm behind right now.
Next season's goals?
I heard that you have to get to the semi-finals in order to get to the season finale. So I have to make it to the semi-finals no matter what. I really want to advance to the finals of the next season no matter what.
Anything else you would like to say?
Honestly, it felt like Crazy and I both made a lot of mistakes and put on a terrible performance for the fans. I will make sure we put on a much better performance next time.
