Today we officially announce the first Wolves StarCraft II Academy. Aimed at the Danish SC2 community, the Wolves Academy will give the opportunity to Danish SC2 players to prove themselves and fight for a chance to climb on the European scene
As opposed to the ‘normal’ way of getting a team together,
Copenhagen Wolves has decided to do things differently. The initiative is called Wolves SC2 Academy and is intended to help young, talented and promising Danish SC2 players. The Academy aims to ensure continued growth and development of the Danish StarCraft II scene.
Wolves SC2 Academy will consist of 6 players in total, 1 being the last big LAN event winner (HKLAN), 2 being picked by CPHW management and the Academy Director, 2 being picked through an open Academy tournament and the last one being picked by fans and community members on a Facebook vote.

Furthermore, we have already added two Danish players to our SC2 Academy team. The first one is Niels “Sonder” Schou , a Zerg player, who won the last edition of the HKLAN. With many awards, Sonder is now known as one the best players of Denmark.
The second player is the Danish Terran player, Patrick “
Bunny” Brix. The winner of the DanishStarcraft.com Winter 2012, a league format tournament which spanned over several months. In addition, Patrick has won DMI 2013, many editions of the NPF and placed 3rd in the WCS Denmark.

A bit late on the news (it was announced on March 9), but apparently not many people know about it in the first place.
Cool to see a team rejoin StarCraft II! They had disbanded sometime May 2012. This announcement also comes one day after the team announced its sponsorship with Adidas.
