But it's very possible to track the name of the torrent you've downloaded. (Because I'm just speculating, we should wait for Saro to comment)

A lot of "private" community sites, use this system, where you have an Upload/download Ratio and stuff. I think that's what he meant, IN the mean while, the systeam also keeps tracks of what torrents have you downloaded and wich you uploaded. ![]()

Starting now, IF you're logged in when downloading torrents or viewing the main listing, it will give you a visual indication of what files you have downloaded. You can still download files again of course if want to, but this should help you spot which ones you haven't got yet. The main problem with "integrating" the tracker functionality with the rest of the website, is that it doesn't use a database at all, just a flat file structure. So for something like this feature in particular, there isn't a nice and "clean" way of implementing it. So I ended up with a bit of a hack, which isn't terribly efficient. I'll keep my eye on it though and make sure it isn't hogging too many resources. (Also edited parts of the original code and made that a lot faster, so maybe that'll make up for it.) Yeah, there's lots of other similar systems out there that are quite a bit more robust. This system is pretty basic and simple, which is part of the reason I went with it. It does it's job and serves our needs well ^^ (And it's nice that I can go in and build stuff on top of it like this.)
