From today's Proleague Post-Season Media Day event:
SK Planet Season 1 Proleague Final Venue
SK Planet Starcraft Proleague Final will be held on 8th April at the Jamsil Students' Gymnasium.
The Korean E-Sports Association revealed the date and venue of the Season 1 Finals at the Proleague media day held earlier today at Yongsan iParkmall.

If I'm not wrong, this gymnasium is home to the Seoul SK Knights Basketball team.
Proleague Awards
At the Media Day event, which was attended by all teams who qualified for the play-offs, Kespa also presented several awards to Starcraft and Special Force coaches and players.
For Starcraft, STX Soul's  Dear received the best rookie award for Season 1. Although his former Hwaseung Oz teammate, sHy won 1 more game than him during the season, Dear had a far better win-loss ratio.
Flash received two awards, one for having the most wins in the season and the second for being this season's MVP. This is the 3rd time that Flash has won both awards simultaneously, setting a new record. He was previously tied with Jaedong and Nal_rA, who have won both awards simultaneously on 2 occasions.
Lastly, Coach Park Yong Woon of T1 received the award for best coach, having led SKT to 4 consecutive Proleague finals.

Wow. Some gymnasium instead of the beach.
They really need to plan something better than that. I thought finals in China was bad enough.

Another cost-cutting measure I suspect, since PL is sponsored by SK and Jamsil Stadium is home to one of their basketball teams.
Stork was saying something like "after not having qualified for the play-offs for some years and just reading about media day in the news, it's nice to be present on site", so January face-palmed.

I think it has to do more with the fact that it's early April. Not quite beach weather.

I wish they would have chosen a larger venue. Jamsil Students Gymnasium supposedly seats only 7500.

If they can pack 7500 seats though, it shoudl still look pretty impressive.

is just season 1 , prob they will see how it turnout, if more than 7500 people go , i bet they shift location for shure

Uh...Dear only played and won, one match-up and if he played the other mu's he lost. Shy played all mu's. I seriously don't understand where the logic lies in giving Dear the award. The only thing I could see was giving Flash his first loss.

Shy was way too inconsistent, especially in - as much as I hate this word - "clutch" situations.

1st picture: the SKT core lineup, Bisu/Fantasy/Best all snickering trying so hard to be polite.
