Hello there fellow Liquidians!
As the title states, in some countries Grooveshark isn't free anymore. As Spotify isn't global (yet?), this was the most used alternative for many people. It was free, it's database was really good.
Some days ago was a really nice topic opened, with progamer's Grooveshark playlist and I started listening to all of them, but today when I tried to access it the following message appeared:

I know 4$ isn't much, but the most cool part about grooveshark was cearly that it was free!
I tried to search the web about this whole issue, but there's not much info about it yet. All I could find on reddit is that at the moment Ireland, Finland and Romania is restricted(and ofcourse Germany).
In Ireland and Romania they ask you to pay 4$, while in Finald it's only 2$. This seems like really strange for me. Why does the ammount needed to be paid differ in these 3 countries.
Did anyone notice this ? Because I also saw that some finnish guys posted they still don't need to pay.
Also please let's try to discuss things normally, I know aswell that 4$ a month isn't much so no need to tell us to pay.And I'm curious how do they determine in what country is Grooveshark restricted and why ?
And if you know any kind of alternatives please Post it here. All I could find till now is the Moonplayer.

Should change the title to note that it may be pay only in your country, still works fine in the states.

The different cost per country is because of the market value that record companies attribute to the average consumer in that region. Don't worry about though, the record companies know what's best for us.

Yeah, I'm in California and it still works perfectly fine for me, hopefully that won't change anytime soon

Yes but it's kinda wierd for me that Romania has to pay 4$ and Finland only 2$. Ofcourse it's not a huge difference but I could imagine this if Finland pays 4 and Romania 2 looking at the financial situation of the citizens in the 2 countries.

According to that Reddit topic, there are many finnish guys posting that they need to pay. Some people didn't have this issue right this morning but in the last 2-3 hours some posts appeared about the need of a payment in order to acces Grooveshark
