Translated by me, sorry for any bad translation or error in advance.

Q: Thanks for doing this interview with s.163.com, say hello to everyone.

A: Hi everyone, I’m the leader and the coach for the SC2 division of Invictus Gaming, my name is Wu Jun, my ID is iG.Edison.

Q: As we already know, XiGua and Macsed from iG have been guaranteed with Code A spots for GSL 2012 Season One, can you tell us more about it?

A: We should thank a lot for our club, during the negotiation with GomTV, the superiors played a very important role. With the substantial support from our club, things went smoothly compared with last year. Now with my whole heart I can say is thanks for our club.

Q: Code A Season One will start on 31st Jan, so that’s schedule for iG?

A: Since the Chinese New Year is on 23rd, so the final decision for us is to fly to Korea on 30th.

Q: How is the current form of XiGua and Macsed? What are their goals?

A: After playing many tournaments recently, their mindset and form become stable, they just need to improve their weak matchups to become more comprehensive. The goal for our club, as well as the goals for them, is to show the full potential and to get as far as possible step by step.

Q: During the WCG GF, you had been in contact with many Korean teams, is there any inside story for cooperating with FXO?

A: Unfortunately I cannot reveal much about it, I’m sorry. All I can tell you is that all the Korean teams are very friendly and very glad to welcome us.

Q: It’s the second time for Chinese players to participate in GSL after Loner, as the leader of the team, you have to help the players both in daily life and in the game, what have you done for preparation?

A: We have been using GSL map pool in team training matches, but for now, I’m with XiGua for the final of G-league in Shanghai, and other team members in the house is working hard for PSL, and the Chinese New Year is about to come, we are running out of time so we can only focus on the on-going tournaments at the moment.

Q: Comparing with the time when Loner joined GSL, the SC2 scene is more competitive, in order to achieve success in GSL, the Chinese players need to overcome many problems, including language barrier, accommodations, training and matches, etc. Which of these do you think is the most difficult one to overcome?

A: For me it’s language and training, and these two are closely related, although we are in coop with the Korean team, without good communication, the Naniwa-MVP problem may happen, it’s my main task there.

Q: With the experience of Loner and the WCG GF, you now have a insight knowledge about Korean SC2 scene, what do you think the players will benefit from going to Korea?

A: First of all, the training system. If you need to get the specific matchup training in China, you can only turn to your teammates or a few friends, LoveTT for instance. While in Korea, you have more choices for training, it’s more systematic and comprehensive.

Another point many people may ignore is the image of the progamers, it will help them to improve and to have a good habbit.

Q: Many foreign players start to stream when they go to Korea, will XiGua and Macsed do that too?

A: At the beginning, we will focus more on training and the matches. In order not to show our tactics and builds, we will not stream in a short time. If we stream one day, we will inform you asap.

Q: It has beecon ups and downs for Chinese SC2 scene in 2011, we’ve suffered a crushing defeat at IEM Guangzhou and we’ve achieved runner-up in WCG GF, and you came to iG from WE, lead XiGua and Macsed to go outside China, can you briefly summarize this year?

A: The players work harder themselves rather to say I lead them. The twisty year is a good thing for the players. They can know their weakness more deeply, set their goals clearly and work hard for them.

Q: Will you participate in domestic tournaments while in Korea? And what’s the plan fort China Union Team?

A: The domestic tournaments are adjusting now, we will participate because we wish to bring back some experiences to help the domestic tournament to become more well-organized. Even if we have conflicts we still have iG.CoMM and iG.XY as well as two mysterious new players, so that won’t be a problem.

As for the China Union Team, we are still negotiating with other teams, if everything goes well, we will participate GSTL Season Two in May.

Q: Last shout-outs?

A: When the GSL news came out, we saw the support from everybody, we are so moved. We will be motivated by the pressures, we cannot guarantee to win in every matches but we will do our best to show great games.

In the end, thanks to our club Invitus Gaming, thanks for the support. Thanks to GomTV and many Korean teams for the great opportunities. Mostly importantly, thanks to our fans, we cannot make this far without your support.
