Howdy Ho,
We're going to organize a LAN in Singapore on the 11th December. The LAN will be at Mystery BoX Gaming Club (http://www.facebook.com/mysteryboxgaming?SK=info)
Important information
Date: Sunday 11th December
Time: Kick-off at 11AM.
Venue: Mystery BoX Gaming Club, Golden Wall Centre, 89 Short Street #B1-14/15/16/17, Singapore, Singapore S188216
League: Open for all
Number of players: 32 to 48
Format: Double-elimination, BO3 upper bracket, BO1 looser bracket. If more than 32 players, the top players on ladder will be seeded directly to round 32.
Entry fee: 15SGD for 4 hours of gaming guaranteed (even if you got kicked out, we'll make a loser bracket)

The SC2 scene in Singapore is almost non-existent. Sponsors will Never accept to support competitions if the community is not there. By participating to this LAN, and making LAN regularly, we can grow-up the community and so having competitions sponsorized. The entry fee covers the cyber costs and the prize pool. Organizers don't make profits on it. I am 100% sure that if we have a good turn-up at this LAN there will be great chances next LAN will be bigger with bigger cash prizes

Here is the list of map for the First set of games.
Round 64(if any) : GSL Dual Sight
Round 32: GSL Daybreak
Round 16: Nerazim Crypt
1/4 finals: MLG Metalopolis
1/2 finals: Antiga Shipyard
Final (BO5): Shakuras Plateau
Map pool for other sets: GSL Dual Sight, GSL Daybreak, Nerazim Crypt, MLG Metalopolis, Antiga Shipyard, Shakuras Plateau, The Shattered Temple, Tal'Darim Altar LE, Xel'Naga Caverns, Abyssal Caverns.
Prizes
The prizes described here are subject to change (get bigger if we get 48 players)
1st : 200SGD + fame . Gentle reminder, Money+fame=women
2nd: 100 SGD
3rd-4th: 50 SGD
5th-8th: 15 SGD

Other informations
Players will be allowed to bring their own equipment (mouse, mousepad, keyboard, headset etc). The computers are more than capable of running StarCraft II at it's highest settings. If you plan to bring more than ONE USB peripherical (=mouse+keyboard) then you'll need to bring USB extensions.
