it appears PGT is down indefinitely, so i'd like to know who could support PGT

i'd be happy to provide some financial support for server costs

please post in this thread if you think you could help out PGT

. I'm sure everyone in the community (including the korean pros) would be happy to have PGT back and running like it was before, with a bit less strain on noble Pat.

I am almost willing to do anything to get PGT back. At least thats the way i feel after playing horrible old WGT. PGT was countless times better than WGT so yes i really hope something is done soon, im sure there is a way we could all help. Although.. getting this all organzied doesnt seem like it will ever happen.

hmm i think most ppl that play BW are students so more or less moneyless :D So sorry I knnow PGT is GoDLike but i wont pay the only money i have to support PGt sry

this is not gonna work, perhaps first,second month but its not so cheap to keep up with the monthly payment, and who is gonna donate money over and over again, and what happened with that dude who offered a server for free???

Why don't they just put up ads that you can click on if you feel like helping out PGT? Sort of like what teamliquid does with pokerstars, pacific poker, etc.

I would trust him without hesitation, whats the worst thing that can happen?, you going back to the same situation as now, and he totally looses all credibility and respect, i dont think thats what he intends by offering what he offered.....kind of stupid not accepting his generous offer...dunno

Thing is that PGTour is so much more than money.

What about site bug?
What about launcher bug?
What about Bnet-X bug?
What about managing Admins so things do not go out of control?
What about updating anti-hack to keep it up to date?

And the list goes on and on. Having it back is nice but it has to be managed carefully so the quality remains as it was and keeps getting better. This is a big project that requier a lot of time and a lot of people that are dedicated and that work for free.

Sadly, due to some circomstences, I cannot give as much time as I was usued to and honestly, I am a bit scared. PGTour can be awesome, we all know that but it can be the worst thing ever if is not managed carefully and kept up to date. Thats what scares me. There is too many things that can go wrong...

Like getting bad admins that are power hungry and abuse power. But Endurance is a damn good Admin and knows my standards and he agreed to manage all Admins so it might be fine... =]

Anyway, it looks like things are getting in the right way right now
