Edit: As someone pointed out, due to my stupidity, since the source is NOT from fomos, I can't translate it.Translation of the Chinese translation of January article from DES following Jangbi's OSL win. Hope you got that.
Samsung Khan's Coach Kim Ga Eul (January): "I hope this win can infuse some much needed energy for ESports."
After JangBi became the lone protoss in the OSL, he received very special treatment from January. Although it was the offseason, she asked the team to work on preparation for the OSL.
She allowed her players to take their vacation early following the PL playoffs. But asked them to return to help Stork and JangBi for their OSL matches.
They began be holding an in-team ranking tournament on the OSL maps. Because it was the offseason, she discarded all PL maps not used in the OSL. She also gave personal training for Stork and Jangbi.
When Stork got eliminated in the Ro16, all concentration went to JangBi. Reality, TurN, Sharp, Kop, and other terrans simulated Flash in serving as Jangbi's practice partners. When Jangbi advanced to the semi-finals, she brought in Khan's zergs to help practice. Jangbi became very familiar with the 4 OSL maps, and his training went smoothly.
During Chuseok, everyone still helped JangBi willingly. This really helped with the preparation. In addition, Stork, Grape, Brave, etc. spent their time researching strategies, and came up with builds for every single map. Because of their dedication and hard work, Jangbi managed to once again bring about The Legend of the Fall.
Samsung Khan's Coach Kim Ga Eul (January): "The reason for Jangbi's OSL win is not due to some sort of magic regarding the Legend of the Fall. This is the fruits of hard work and practice. I also hope Jangbi's win can infuse some much needed energy for ESports."
End Note: January's first name in Korea means "Autumn"...

Seems like the quote one for all and all for one really lives in samsung khan team.

Great job Jangbi and whole Khan Team <3
|
Sorry but I think the more pertinent reason would be:
The Legend of the Fall
|
Yea man you could really see them pulling together to help jangbi and even SKT1 helping fantasy imbetween games, I loved the interaction between players / coaches imbetween games, was so epic ^^
|
Pretty epic games ftw lol

this thread title basically spoiled the results for me, since I haven't seen the games yet.. so thnx.
highly doubt January would be saying the whole team prepared for the OSL if jangbi did not win.
gg.

That's why when you know you're going to miss the live final you go straight to the small vod thread via bookmark/search bar/other source and don't read anything else

the power of teamwork prevails once again.

it's just courtesy.. not really a big deal, I don't mind that much, but was really looking forward to it.. I needed a little more time to "prepare" for these epic finals.
left-hand side of teamliquid is important for ALL updates, especially SC2.. ofc I'm going to naturally glance over the BW section.. and when you see: January: The Entire Team.. yes, that insinuates the results without even opening the thread.. is there anything from Coach Park? No. Even if there was, it wouldn't be posted, because fantasy didn't win.. so it could only mean one thing.
anyway, I'll probably still watch!

Terribly sorry. Mistake on my part, and I'm normally generally aware of keeping spoilers unspoiled.
Unfortunately, I cannot find a place to change the title. If there is a way please tell me. Or if a mod is reading, please change it.

Oh that's so sweet! Teamwork ftw!
|
They are just tired of going to the finals to cheer their own teammate just to watch him get silver only(Great, Stork).
|
Starleague is a team league now?
|
the fomos article also mentions that they would have team ranking matches on the osl maps instead of proleague maps, in order to help out jangbi and stork (who were in the osl ro16) and the proleague has ended already

Reason why i love Khan so much = P

gg. ... how did it spoil the results for you... all it states is that the whole team worked together to help JangBi with the OSL... doesn't mean that with the help he has 100% win chance....
