If you want to be flamed to hell, there are the blizzard forums. Otherwise, teamliquid is the best/mannered community and it is why your thread was closed, you shouldnt post without respecting the rules (and the other people by the same occasion).

He means flaws like if you float like 3k minerals 5 minutes in or lose 50 marines to 3 banelings, macro and micro mistakes respectively. You don't have to be anywhere near perfect.

You do know that you are insulting us right now yea? And yet we are not flaming you.

If this site is the best and best mannered then i feel bad for sc2 community No, there's just been a lot of crap threads and posts and TL is really trying to clean it up. One of the biggest helpful things a person can do is lurk a bunch on a forum, get a feel for the culture, figure out what is considered acceptable, and then post. Honestly, there's a wealth of information and helpful people on here. But if you're creating a new thread, some effort needs to go in- replay, analysis and some sort of indication that you've done your homework. The alternative is TL becomes a yahoo answers with varying degrees of quality edit: Also, typically issues with threads being closed goes into website feedback aka:The why was my thread closed

If this site is the best and best mannered then i feel bad for sc2 community Dude.... Quote the whole quote: It refers to threads where people post replays in order to get help, because they don't know what they did wrong (the H tag). If it is obvious what he did wrong tho there is no need to post such a thread, because all peole will only refer to that.

If this site is the best and best mannered then i feel bad for sc2 community Its just a remark , nobody expects you to play perfectly. But if you are floating 4 diggers resources and ask how to stop a 1-2 base push for example , you are just wasting people's time. If you get what its meant.

If this site is the best and best mannered then i feel bad for sc2 community You're misunderstanding. If you post a thread saying "How can I possibly hold off strategy X, I've tried everything and I just don't know what to do" and then people look at your post and there's like a 5 minute period where you produced no harvesters and you haven't noticed, you've prodbably not put enough effort in to your OP. The rules are there to ensure people put effort in to their posts, and don't just crap up the forums with stuff that 2 minutes of their own time could sort. That said, it seems you're being intentionally passive aggressive towards the staff and this site, and this thread probably belongs in website feedback so I'm not sure how useful my post will be. In general, making sure you've put your own time in before asking for the time of others, is the important issue.

You don't have to be anywhere near perfect. Besides, if you have over ~500 minerals per base your macro can improve leaps and bounds without any strategical thoughts at all, and that would help your game tremendously regardless of which opener and overarching plan you can have. And very rarely does the micro thing come into play so long as you have decent macro. Basically the rules are in place so that the strategy forum isn't 389751329487132 threads with players who don't need strategy help, rather an hour of practice vs a computer to keep their money lower.

often on forums you will see: "nice" as the first post and if they are polite "comment is coming up" you will find some people in this forum that will provide you really good help. If you want a forum without trolls i haven't seen one till now, that has a registered user count above 20.

I didnt post any replays as its not one specific thing but just a general observation i wanted feedback or advice on or hear others stories. I got a warning and thread locked. I dont under stand why. I also got one usefull response, and also 3 that i can only describe as rude and tbh what im finding typical of the sc2 community. the more i follow and get involved in this game and community the mroe dispointed i get. I'm glad you have changed your thoughts from what you wrote on the first post because the TL community is really the best and most passionate eSports community ever. EVER!
