After having some trouble with this topic, I finally got it to work and wanted to share my work with all of you.
First of all, you might ask yourselves: "Why the hell would I need something like that, and what is it at all?"
Progamers streaming their ladder, or caster playing music in between the games, probably know what I am talking about. Every time you play an awesome song, the chat goes wild and wants to know the name of it.
NOT ANYMORE!
Here I will present a small tutorial on how to add an overlay to your XSplit, which will contain the current song information.
First of all what you will need:
- XSplit (duhh)
- Winamp (or any other popular player, like iTunes and Foobar)
- AMIP (this is where the magic happens

From here on out, it is almost as simple, as acquiring the tools mentioned above.
Install AMIP for your favorite music player. In this tutorial I will be using Winamp.
EDIT: Ok, so after having some questions about which players are supported, here the list:
- Winamp
- Foobar2000
- iTunes
- Quintessential Media Player.
- Apollo
- MediaMonkey
- AIMP Classic
After you do that, go to Winamp and go into the settings menu. Now go to "plug-ins" and choose "general purpose".
This is where you will find the AMIP plugin.

It should be the one marked blue on the pic.
From here on out, it's not much to do.
Simply change these settings in the red box, in the next picture to your liking:

After you decided were to put the .txt, you will have to decide what information will be contained in the .txt and if it is supposed to change, when the song is on pause or stop.
After saving, there is only one more thing to do: Go to XSplit and add a title.
You should set it to "Remote text update" and set the interval to 10 sec.
Were it says "remote URL" just input the location of your .txt, which you created earlier using Winamp / AMIP.
It would be best, to set it to scrolling, since you never know, how long the song name will be.

If you followed my instructions, after you are done, it should look something like this, with your additional overlays etc.:

Hope I could help some streamers and casters out there. I know, it helped me a lot.
Greetings,
Krytos.
