fragster: Hello Ret. Going in the tournament do you felt confident to win one of the tickets to the BlizzCon?
Joseph 'Ret' de Kroon: I would be one of the contenders. I really feel the crucial match was against NaNiwa because my ZvP is probably my weakest matchup and NaNiwa is one of the best Protoss in Europe so after I defeated him I knew I would have a good chance against ThorZaIN in the final.

If you practise one month eight hours a day straight: What do you think, could you be one of the best players in the world or what potential do you think you would have?
Ret: It is pointless to say because practise is one of the skills people have but I am obviously not the best at taking time to practise and give everything. But I think I can always be one of the best players outside of Korea, I don't know about comepeting with the Koreans. As we saw at the last MLG they are far ahead now. No one can touch them, they just keep playing more and more and talking to each other and perfecting everything. It's gonna be really hard, not just for me, but for everyone to keep up. Hopefully the European scene keep developing, the US scene keep developing. I hope a lot of new talents show up, because right now it feels like you playing with the old people from Broodwar and Warcraft 3. Everyone playing for so long they're kinda happy where they are, there are only a couple of people who really want to push thereselves, want to reach new hights. But I think we really need those people and if we really work together we can do it.
