Inspired by a necro that required the host to play, I bring you Doug's Race.
Meet Doug #1:

Doug is a member of a race of creatures that will be faced with many challenges over the course of this game. Your goal is alter him so his race can survive the challenge presented by the poster above you. Then you put forward the next problem his race will need to overcome.
Challenge #1: Right now Doug and his family are starving to death. They have plenty of food but no way to eat it. Save him from starvation.
Edit: It'll probebly be chaotic at first, but hopefully things will slow down to a pace that's playable after a little bit.
Edit 2: Alright people are being very specific about what he needs. Try to make the solution to your challenge as open ended as possible so the next poster has something to work with and be creative instead of saying "he needs X" where X is some highly specific item.

I like the idea at first glance, but maybe change it to like the start of his race. It doesn't make sense to say Doug has a family and all, then address the problem that he has never been able to eat food...

The challenge is a way to keep his sunglasses on because his ears aren't in the right spot.
