Congratulations to gts for taking down glade in the finals 3-2, with a really excellent hivetech game 5. Very solid play from both players all the way.

Isn't gts just a pro-gamer korean? Like.... What the hell makes it a SEA tournament if we're just gona let people from other areas who have an accnt play? -.-;;

korean are getting more and more clever. They wants more money! Stealing TL Open first and now moving on to SEA server. Soon they will invade EU tourneys!

What about TargA?

What about TargA? That's different. The precedent players like gts present is blurring boundaries between the servers so that any player can enter any tournament on a server. SEA players are for the most part stuck on their server because they can't afford second accounts or no other server provides ta playable connection - playing in EU tournaments is impossible for Australians, and playing in American tournaments is impossible for Singaporeans.
Being stuck on the smaller SEA server is a handicap enough in terms of dated builds and amount of competition. Without these players having their own sustainable tournaments where they can play against others from their region without players from servers more condusive to higher level play it could kill off local competition in the area and personally I am against it. Obviously it's fine for tournaments in places like Korea, Europe and America as they are major servers with many large events and external competition isn't going to diminish or drown out local competition or kill off the server.
Obviously there are counter points and many might believe it's good for the server but I think if the SEA server is going to survive we should reduce these visitors from the tournaments to promote local talent.
