Post what sucks about your country, and leave it. That's it. Do the arguing somewhere else.
I believe everyone has an insurmountable pride of their own country and nationality to some extent. Some say "my country is the best at this and that!!" But as you know, if you have the goods, then you also have the bad tagged along with it. What pisses you off about your country? What are the faults? What would you want to see improved upon? Now.. it could specific things, but it could be broad and general things that everyone in your country knows.. but others in foreign countries might not've realized.
Since I'm a Korean, but has lived in Canada for a few years, I guess I'm entitled to hold opinions about two countries.
As for Korea, for starters, the mandatory service in the military for men. The immense stress put on grade school students to enter an elite university.. but then having a low chance of being employed once you graduate from university.. there're many more which I can probably think of later
And as for Canada... it's just too plain and boring -_- Also many feel that they live in the shadows of America which I don't think is necessary.. oh yea.. and there's also a French speaking province Quebec which wants to separate from canada and leave a giant hole on Canada's map and also in the economy
what about your own country?

I live in the USA and can confidently state from the election results that over 50% of our country are retarded hicks.
|
Only a restarded hick would make a statement like that frozzor We spend too much on the military.
|
Well of course I could list the 1000 things wrong with our country, but then again almost everyone knows what they are so... and yes we do spend too much on the military.

I was born in Hong Kong and live in Canada. Canada is filled with stupid people. The service in just about every place is really slow, and everything is just generally (not always, but generally) inefficiently run. Also, people complain about the dumbest things, like "The school system is too difficult for my retarded kid. Make it easier or I'll accuse you of child abuse" or some stupid shit like that. As for Hong Kong, it smells funny and the TV there sucks (of course, whenever I go there, I only get like, 6 channels, so that may have something to do with it...)

also its annoying how americans think the whole world is america. oh i mean "united states".

United States of America is funny. We're supposed to be some rich, superpower of a country, yet we have high level of poverty, we talk about our budget in terms of how much less we're going in debt relative to the last years, and while we have a free education system, less and less funds are being put into it. Or something like that, because I know our schools arent getting as much funding that we need.
|
hm... can anyone tell me which countries are actually not in debt? ... I was thinking if there was one country that wouldn't be in debt, it'd be the states
|
i dunno, maybe we drink too much alcohol ;-] Some time ago one man have 12 promiles and he is still alive =] Its true, 12 promiles, im not joking. He has it in breath, not in blood, but nvm ;-) He was riding on bike, going home haha =] Poland > all in alcohol -_-
