Yellow has officially announced his retirement from professional gaming. He posted the following on his fan cafe (website).
I thought it had been a long time since I had posted on the cafe, but when I looked around I found one from about a month ago ^^
All of the sudden, I find it's been ten years since I've started progaming. As much as it was a long time, I can recall many faint memories. Because my fans were always with me, I think they were all happy ones.
As time passes and I approach the age of 30... So many things seem to change.
You can tell just from how I've gone from being cared for as the youngest, to becoming the big brother of the team ^^
Even though I'm not that old, I'm called an old veteran on this road as a progamer
And from that road I now depart.
I'm so sorry to the fans who still have big expectations of me But I'm endlessly ashamed of myself for subtly clinging here because of that.
Because I still prefer a life of seeking challenges instead of shelter I want to start trying new challenges, under the name of a new beginning.
My immature 20's, where everything was defined by gaming Because of you were with me, it shined brightly, and I will never forget.
To everyone who cheered for and remembered the Pro-gamer Hong Jin Ho Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
*It would be proper to leave this on other websites as well, but retiring isn't something to be proud of...
