Happy first of April, kiddies. Joke ends around noon, so I guess I'll add this note. The sources are actual articles relating to the KT Workshop -- I just changed what Flash said to accompany the joke. Hope you guys enjoyed it.
The announcement came during KT's reflection workshop, where players and coaches gathered around and talked about peformances of their respective players.

Yellow and HOT-Forever led the discussion regarding KT's Zerg line. Yellow specifically commented that while the players have a strong foundation, they lack in variety of strategies and in adjusting to situations. That is, the players often fail to adjust to the opposing players when they come into the game with unique strategies.
Flash echoed this sentiment. He talked about how he had analyzed how Barracks and Suny had played, and mentioned how their playstyle is not much different from how Flash plays, but what the latter players lack is the ability to make critical game decisions.
Reach talked about the Protoss line, and how they are going to fill the void left by Violet. While Stats has recorded 20 kills during this Winner's League, they talked about how this will not be enough when the best of seven format returns. They discussed how Tempest, and even Reach will need to step up and contribute to the game. During this discussion, Flash took the podium, asked for the microphone from Reach and made an announcement.

He talked about how he has not developed as a player during this season, saying that "I have not grown as a player since last year". He then apologized to his teammates about his wrist and how it has held him back in important games, and made the announcement.
"Considering all of this, I will be switching to Protoss starting this Winner's League finals", he said. He talked about a previous interview where he had entertained the possibility of switching races, since he had felt as if he had learned everything there was to know about playing Terran. He also talked about how he needed a "less APM intensive race" in order to accelerate the healing of his wrist, as his current Terran play puts too much strain on his wrists for it to properly heal.
Maps were also a contributing factor, he said. "The maps favor Protoss", Flash noted, saying that a competitive player should try his best to maximize his chances of winning based on the map pool.

KT Rolster officially reported the changes to KeSPA yesterday. Flash's new Protoss play could be seen as early as this Winner's League finals, if it gets to the last set for KT.
