Today's war is between one of the most accomplished North American teams and champion of SGL Season 1, ![[image loading]](http://www.sgleague.net/Smileys/default/usa.gif) ROOT Gaming, and the Chinese powerhouse of ![[image loading]](http://www.sgleague.net/Smileys/default/439342.gif) MnM (Micro n Macro). This should be an excellent match as both teams are going to need to perform at the top of their game in order to make it to the playoffs and claim part of the prize pool for this season!
ROOT Gaming got off to a rocky start this season barely losing their first 3 matches, but have gone undefeated since then taking down teams such as Fnatic and ![[image loading]](http://www.sgleague.net/Smileys/default/Russia.gif) Empire. With the star-filled lineup of  QXC, Drewbie,  SLush, CatZ,  DdoRo (whom we will be releasing an interview with very soon), KiWiKaKi and Minigun, Root is able to compete with anyone in the world. Their players have had some great success in events such as the SGL Season 1 where they won 1st place, currently in 1st place in the SCLeague, Team Liquid Open, ROOT Warzone and regular Showmatches proving they are the most accomplished team in North America!
MnM has had recent wins against great teams such as Fnatic, ONE and an upset against RAGE in the qualifiers, they have proven that they belong in this caliber of teams! With players such as  MnMVadar, who is the top ranked player in the SGL with a record of 10-5, MnMLuckyNoob, lovemyrm, MasterAsia,  MnMEdward, MnMLastZerG and Kyox, MnM has a team very capable of clenching the top place in this league! With the recent accomplishment of winning the first season of Lag League (now known as the ESGL), they look poised to do the same here if they can continue their success this week of beating the previously undefeated and number one ranked team ONE!

Edit - What's the score at so far?
Currently MasterAsia(bottom spawn) Vs Drewbie(Top Spawn) on Xel'naga Caverns.
Both players playing VERY Macro, Masterasia leaving Drewbie to take his 3rd gold quickly, and responds with his own quick 3rd. Drewbie staying with standard marine/tank/thor composition, many many barracks blocking off the secret hallway at the top, and the right pathway to his natural walled playing very defensive.
Masterasia going +2 ranged attack and +1 carapace, sticking with an ALL ground composition. Roach/Ling/baneling mass. Getting a very late spire to add in Mutalisk. 2-1 Bio & 2-0 Mech for Drewbie.
Huge engagement at the right tower! Drewbie's tanks just DEMOLISHING nearly unphased he demolishes through Masterasia's army! Asia is quick to regroup and is macroing hard here to come back, his Gold expansion falls. Drewbie eases the tension momentarily to regroup at the left before coming full force straight into Masterasia's natural. There are too many marines, tanks and Thors at this point, the small mutalisk reinforcement doesn't do much and he's forced to GG. Seemed like a relatively easy win for Drewbie. Masterasia applied little to no pressure while Drewbie was content to macro away a gigantic teched deathball which worked wonders for him this game.
UP NEXT is Drewbie(T) vs Vader(P) @ Lost Temple. Countdown under way here. Vader defeats the load boss first!
