About StarCraftMecca
StarCraftMecca is a merchandising company that sells progaming merchandise from progaming teams in Korea. Currently we only provide SC:BW team merchandise but we are hoping to get enough interest so that we can stock both SC:BW and SC II team merchandise. StarCraftMecca is founded by a former SC:BW gamer (iCCup rank of C-) and a current SC II gamer (only 1700+ points in Diamond unfortunately, switched to Protoss from Zerg and just started losing everything TT) so it's pretty much a company run by gamers for gamers. This means that we know how you feel about StarCraft in general and will do our best to accomodate everyone!

Yes! Its on a weekend. BTW, I like the round if 48 format, it garantees you get at lest two games.
|
Actually it's guaranteed 4 games.
Step 1 Ro48: You have to play against both opponents once each and whoever makes it out of the group makes it out.
Step 2 Ro48: You play a Bo3 with the player that didn't make it out of the group.
4 games FTW!

Hey K0re, do you guys happen to have a commentator set up to live commentate? I would be happy to travel down from red deer if you guys are in need. PM me for any information such as experience and etc.

PM me for any information such as experience and etc. As far as a commentator to live commentate we don't have one set up at the moment but I'm not sure if we're going to have one at all (due to the how the venue is set up). I'll give The Node a call and have a response by tomorrow or the day after.

Completely understandable man, either way this is looking like a pretty decent tournament. Good luck to all participants!

can we bring our own equipments? such as keyboard/mouse/headset?
|
Can we bring our own keyboard and mouse?
Yes, as long as it is a plug-and-play USB. No additional drivers will be installed and if you do not have a keyboard and mouse, by signing up for the tournament you are agreeing to use the ones provided by Node Gaming.
It's in the FAQ by the way lol

I kinda was hoping that people would be signing up from the SCM site so that I'd have a list of people that I could message in the future for upcoming tournaments ... if anyone that sent me a PM through here could just make an account there and send me the PM through there that'd be great.

I really wanna go to this, but again I leave Calgary on the 3rd = / and I would really like to have that OZ jacket lol you guys have fun

What graphics settings would be allowed at the tournament? I don't play on ultra or anything but I'm just wondering.
|
I'll almost 100% come and lose. Is there a registration deadline? Am I able to reserve a spot? xD
|
Can you explain what the March Mayhemm thing is? I.E , it would be interesting to see whether it would be worth it for Fnatic to send someone if they would be qualifying for a much bigger event, etc o-o;
|
Can we come spectate? Yes, anyone can come to watch and cheer but if the venue starts to get packed participants will have priority.
What graphics settings do we have to play on? You will have the option to change the in-game settings around before your matches.
Is there a registration deadline? Once the registration list is full we will be taking a waiting list as a backup for those that don't show.
What is the March Mayhem? It is a much bigger tournament with more players and a much bigger prize pool / sponsors. Also, StarCraftMecca will be involved in a few worldwide events and the participants of these events will be lightly based on the tournaments we have held in the past.
P.S. I'm updating these on the main thread at SCM so that people can have an easy place to find the answers in the future.
