EDIT 2: Additional photos now at the end of the post
On the 23rd, the KeSPA football cup between the 9 progamer teams (besides ACE) was held on the national team's training field. KT and STX valiantly fought into the finals, but thereupon the exchange of fire with North Korea occurred. Worried about the players' safety, KeSPA decided to postpone the final game.
In the Ro8, STX defeated Samsung 3:0, with Calm kicking two in and hero adding a goal of his own, showing off their immense strength.
Hwaseung Oz, known as the "Hwaseung Football Club," came to a deadlock with Hite. In a penalty shootout, Oz advanced 4:1 into the Ro4.
In the prelims, Hite had defeated KeSPA's team 2:0 after a quick goal by Movie sealed the win.
The semifinal match between Hwaseung and STX was pretty much an earlier finals game. Lomo got Oz on the board early, but STX countered with two goal from coach Jo Gyu Baek for a comeback win. Hwaseung was stranded at the Ro4.
Out of the Ro8 matches, the most anticipated was the one between telecommunications rivals KT and SKT. Both sides had issued declarations of war, and that neither side would let the other score, and in fact during the first half the neither team earned a single goal. In the second half, however, SKT coach Kwun Oh Hyuk opened the scoring, but KT's head coach Lee Ji Hoon evened the game out and it went to penalties. However, in the penalty shootout, goalie Reach demonstrated the talent of a prodigy, and his courageous control led KT to a 4:3 win of the shootout.
KT's Ro4 opponent was FOX, fresh off a win against Stars' female team. KT, however, had played a prelim match, so their strength was deterioriating after their two earlier games. WeMade, capitalizing on this weakness, applied early pressure to their opponents. However, the miraculous Reach once again displayed his power; as goalie, his contributions were invaluable to keep the score at 0:0. In the penalty shootout, Reach continued his spectacular run by blocking three shots in a row, keeping WeMade to zero points and sending his team to the finals. Reach was undoubtedly KT's hero of the day.
As stated earlier, the finals match between KT and STX was delayed due to KeSPA's concerns about the players' safety as the artillery fire was exchanged with North Korea.

Calm was honored as the king of shooting.
Out of the players who participated in the KeSPA cup, the one who shone the most was STX's Calm. He was fast and precise, and with two goals scored he earned honors as the best scorer. Even the teams who faced STX felt Calm's overwhelming offensive presence. In the blink of an eye, the short, quick runner could be past you. Even when pinned by the defense, Calm could assist his teammates with his passing. One spectator remarked, "This is like the skill of a professional."
After the tournament, Calm said, "Today I ran very actively, so I was able to score twice. To be honest, there was a lot of luck involved. I will do my best in our match with KT as well."
In other news, since Woongjin's female team [T/N according to CSheep, the Chinese community just likes to label Woongjin as effeminate] was eliminated early, their main player Zero acted as a cheerleader. He also revealed his brand new cellphone to the reporter. To the reporter's surprise, the background of the phone was famous singer IU! [T/N I think...] Zero laughed, "This is the girl of my dreams."
