Welcome to my TL Stream Thread!
About me: I am a Master Level Zerg player currently working to establish myself as a recognized Streamer & Caster. As I start my 1v1 Campaign I'll be streaming all my matches with the interest of improving myself, but also helping players looking to work out the creases in their builds, timings, play, etc. I will also be looking to cast as many events as possible.
Why you should watch: I wont be just another boring streamer, I'll be as informative, analytical, and helpful as possible in my live game casting, while also providing self commentary on my personal games, while trying new and interesting builds to learn and grow rather then, "6 pool!!" "Zomg Cheese" "Oh Man all in rush" Etc.
I'll also trying to cast tournaments as much as possible. I've been following E-Sports & Starcraft since the BW days. I'll be looking for opportunity to cast. (Feel free to contact me about that)
I am looking to be as fun and helpful as I can, and that means getting YOU involved, so that everyone has a good time.
Hope everyone will watch and enjoy the show, I don't usually play music... But I'll come up with a decent play list for my streams. Probably in the instrumental, trancy, beat orientated music.

go ahead and find youself a copy of VH multicam (its discontinued, but downloads still exist. it wont be the first link) You can set your output as 1280x800 which is 16:10, so you can get that extra res to match the 1680:1050 that you have. No need to change your mainscreen resolution.
After you have gotten the vhmulti, set the capture to that in fmle. multicam will popup, and you will see a blank black preview screen window thing. (in vhmulti) go to file > add camera, then select vhscreen cap (not multi).
go to its (right click video options for screen cap) options, and turn off optimizations. make sure it is scale to fit/aspect ratio, and resize.
also, change the x and y corrds of recording to your resolution.
then, hit ok. in the preview window, there will be some ugly. so select it the vhscreen cap, and delete it. then add it again. it will get rid of the ulgy. resize the screen cap in the preview window (which you want to leave open btw, due to performance issues if its closed).
then in the top menu, set your resolution output to 1280x800.
then you should be pretty much set.
there might be a few errors here and there, but im not on my main pc, so thats pretty much all from memory. gl

Edit: This was about FLME settings, for my stream, trying to figure out the correct sizes.

Edit: This post summarizes all my hardships, and finally coming up with 2 different ways of casting my stream.

awesome tournamentttttt Starcraft II Rebirth weekly tournaments are pretty amazing. esp with popsicles leet casting.
fyi the tournament winners are invited to a monthly king of the hill tournament with $10 prize for diamond players and $20 prize for masters players.
and if you arent familiar with SCR tournaments they are league specific from bronze to master, individually. so you can get really good practice vs players on your level!!! check em out!!!
