wowfag
- 1. A scrub who has a shit lot of achievement points. - 2. A scrub who complains about racial imbalance. - 3. A scrub who calls you bad after they lose. - 4. The bad posters that is plaguing Team Liquid
Anyone else experience this? I've been getting lots of nerd raging whenever I win, and I am 90% sure most of them play WoW since the way they QQ is exactly the same as the 1500 rated trade chat scrubs. I just find it hilarious and makes it feel even better when I win.
Thoughts? Do you think they'll be gone after awhile? Or are they here to stay and it's something we just have to get used to?

By your last criteria point, are you implying that you're one of them?
|
Well, considering you joined later than the 'wowfags' here...
And are a bad poster...
|
Why does it matter? I'm pretty sure many of the top SC foreigners have dabbled in WoW for atleast a short while. I mean the trial probably was pretty tempting. If they're practicing like all the others, is there a point to judge their abilities with games they have played in the past?
I mean you could say the same to anyone here who owns an xbox360 or any other console. There are always going to be people like that on the internet and it really does not matter what game they came from.

Agreed.
Also, Day9 said he's going to get all the achievements for Starcraft 2. Is he a "wowfag"?

Creating this thread was not a good decision.
Especially this part:
- 4. The bad posters that is plaguing Team Liquid
combined with this post and that signature.. irony at it's best.

The amount of backlash against the OP's stupid points are what makes this thread a "win".

When he says WoWFags I'm assuming he means people who only played WoW , or played it hardcore
And they'll be gone soon, just gotta keep making 'em rage, and then they'll get tired and go back to playing the game they love most o_O

"wowfag" ... Wow. By your criteria, most of the new generation gamers (since we're playing the sweeping generalized assumption game) are just like that. You can see the same thing in MW2, All the new 8digit wave kids that are 15 playing 1.6 in pubs now, and as you can see now... I'm assuming, many people in SC2. It's not just people who play WoW, it's people who just don't know respect and a true competitive platform. A lot of people who have proper mindsets don't mind losing because it generally teaches them something about themselves of their opponent.
