w0w both vids were definitely moving indoor kite flying... thats definitely going on my to do list and the 2nd video, maaaaaaan that was great, sweet post!
sigh. its so hard to judge the kite flying thing. if a regular person had done that with no pretty music in the background it would've been laughed off the stage, it really wasn't that impressive
I mean I feel for the kid, I'm not exactly sure how hard dealing with epilepsy is, but in the grand scheme of things there's just a time and place for everything, and I think letting him on the show for a mediocre talent just because he's disabled is unfair
my sister's autistic but she can do sick cartwheels, awesome LONG handstands, and finish I-spy's in like 10 seconds, but we're not gonna put her on the show because her talent's aren't as good as other peoples.
still good for him that he was brave enough to do it in front of that crowd.
That kite video was the stupidest thing I have ever seen on a talent show. That is an exaggeration, but it was still stupid. For the record, I didn't watch any of his intro video.
The singers aren't bad really, but this has got to be one of the weakest talent pools in the shows history.
contrary to popular belief, it takes skill for that. yeah i should just remake "the best" with "my favorites" . Indeed the kid wasn't one of the best but was a pretty thoughtful and emotional act. Still think there are some other acts i have prolly miss.

This.
No offense to the disabled people, but you gotta realize that 99% of those cheers and him moving forward in the competition is entirely based on the fact that he's diagnosed with epilepsy. No discredit to his hobby or anything, it's pretty unique and I fully believe him when he says that it helps him relax and stuff, but c'mon.
This show absolutely kills me sometimes between the dance and song acts. I -really- get bored by those big group dance acts. There's already American Idol for singers and So You Think You Can Dance for dancers. This show should be more about people that can do other things (magic, martial arts, acrobats, daredevil stuff, instrumentals, uber micro, etc), in my opinion.
Also, while I'm raging, it annoys me that 95% of the acts that go through are disabled people, veterans, recovering addicts, homeless people, children or old people. The only way to make it on this show is to have a sob story the audience can feel sorry for. I still watch it though
dunno really what are some people complaining, the kid just advanced to the next round like many shitty acts that also manage to advance, he didn't win anything just an airplane ticket. So no reason to flame the guy

lol letting him on the show? i believe they are called auditions. where they let EVERYONE in the show.
granted the kid has not one of the best talents, prolly will be eliminated if america agrees with your post. And there are better acts also so i wouldn't be surprise if that were to happen.
